lymph node metastasis to base of neck?

My mom just received PET/CT scan report today... no metastasis to lungs bones liver etc.(which we were happy about) but the scans revealed metastasis to more than 10 lymph nodes to axillary, 2 internal mammary lymph nodes affected and a cluster of nodes at the base of the neck? will this be considered stage 4? im very confused... any replies would be much appreciated. Thank you !

    Hi janekim, I do not know the answer to your question, but I didn't want to read and run.

    I do know that it will be easier when you have the treatment plan in place.
