    Wow! My life's a cake walk compared to hers. A strong woman indeed.

    Very open and courageous of her. She seems to have her priorities right and her beauty definitely shines through. Also, fwiw, she had a very nice surgery result.

    This was wonderful, exactly what I needed to see tonight. Mostly I am strong, but I also still mourn the loss.

    Leslie-fay, hugs to you. This is a crap thing that has happened to all of us and if your true honest reaction is to "fold" for now, then I say fold away. IMHO, there's too much focus on "being strong" and "keeping that positive attitude" because that's what makes other people feel better and let's them believe that this whole cancer thing isn't that bad. Well it seriously sucks, and my approach has been dammit I'll cry and fall apart when I need to because I'm not going to pick myself up just to make you feel better, I'll do it when I'm darn good and ready. But that's just me ;).
