Sleep & Tamoxifen & Ativan

What can you take to sleep better while taking Tamoxifen? Is Melatonin ok to take? Can you still take Ativan for anxiety?

    Hello MamaDarling,

    Sleep can be tough to figure out. I do not know about Melatonin, however I was told Ativan is ok. My doc wanted me off of Ativan as soon as I could be because it can be addictive. My NP prescribed Gabapentin for help with hot flashes, as a nice side affect it helps me sleep! Been on it for a year with no problems.Smile

    I take melatonin to help sleep and it was okay'd by doc. I do take ativan occasionally for anxiety as well. Obviously, double check with your doc though. :)
