Welcome fourminor!
It is beautiful here too (translated to sunny, no wind & in the 30s). I took a long, long walk in the nice fresh air.
That 10 day no added sugar diet sounds intriguing, but I'd flunk if I started right now because this evening I'm going to a fund raising event at the local art center entitled 'An Evening of Desserts and Jazz'!
-
ruth - an evening of desserts and jazz sound like a great event!! Enjoy!
Did a 35 minute walk with my chugg...she is walking well on the leash and it is more fun than the treadmill!
-
Body Step class this morning then yard work cutting down my roses this afternoon trying not to 'stab' myself, green can is full so that means it's time to stop, the rest can wait for next week
-
Did hour of yoga yesterday. Will probably do more today as too rainy and icy to drive to gym or walk. I also have given up sugar for a month- always feel better without it. Also, giving up flour. Am hoping to lose some pounds I've gained.
-
Little housework today (very little, but some!) and also too rainy and icy to drive to gym so 40 mins on treadmill.
Night sculpted friends.
-
Another warmish and sunny day so I walked 33 minutes today and a grocery run.
-
Sun was nice but breezy so felt colder than expected. Bundled up and got out anyway for a 45-min walk. "Side 1 Sunday" was an excellent choice of music. Listened to side A today and looking forward to side B tomorrow.
Side A = Heart-Shaped World by Chris Isaak and Faith by George Michael
Side B = Nothin' But the Taillights by Clint Black and the Swingers movie soundtrack ♥
-
Welcome to the new friends and congrats to those losing weight.
Spent most of the day Saturday cleaning house, scrubbing kitchen floor, etc. Today was my rest day however I did get some walking in while grocery shopping.
Now off to bed since I don't get the holiday off tomorrow. For those who do, enjoy your day. Hoping it will be quiet in the office so I can be extra productive.
-
Disappointed that last night i devoured 4 slices of pizza

-
Core and more (class) and freestyle step at the gym this morning.
-
Yoga this morning, will do Zumba tonight.
I didn't put any creamer in my coffee this morning, so that is one added sugar I didn't consume anyway.
-
Wow funny you mentioned the creamer. When I went for a 2nd cup and saw how much sugar is in the creamer... Well,it's still sitting there. Maybe an extra 500 steps will negate it? It's the chocolate raspberry that they only make around Christmas time, it would be sad to just let it go...
-
20 mins AM yoga this morning and will walk this afternoon.
I like strong coffee with just a splash of milk to cool it down.
It's amazing how many products have added sugar or other sweeteners! Must read labels carefully, sugar is disguised. One product called it "evaporated cane syrup". Oh come on, that's sugar!
On green salads, I'm using Bragg's Healthy Vinaigrette which has a smidge of organic honey.

I use their BraggBerry dressing on that beet & pear salad with the goat cheese & toasted walnuts.

-
Nothing strenuous today, but I did get about a mile of walking in while shopping with DD.
-
Cheryl: Hope you didn't stab yourself.
Badger: The dressing sound delicious.
Momwriter and Patoo: Sorry about the cold, rainy, icy weather. Today is beautiful here - 61 degrees, and clear, blue sky. I just returned from my fast walk, jog and I'm covered with liquid awesome. Happy Martin Luther King Day everyone.
-
You ladies are inspiring!
Long walk today to get bagels (Almost 2 miles round trip I think?) Yes, I ate one when I got home.
It was really good though.
-
Badger that dressing sounds so good!
I've been using Newmans own organic oil & vinegar but this sounds even better as does that salad. I love goat cheese mmm
-
Going down to hop on treadmill. Thanks Voices!
-
1/19-35 minute walk at dusk. Tomorrow, I return to the gym after being virally the past few days.
-
TRX today. Might do a kettlebell class but it begins at 5:30AM. Hmma
-
Walked 50 minutes at lunch today. Pleasantly warm (OK for Chicago January). I'm up to 69 active minutes on my Argus app. I know I'll want to walk around a bit to get that up to 75. 69 is just too close to 75!
I haven't seen the Bragg's dressings. I'll have to look for those. My favorite dressing is Brianna's Blush Wine Viniagrette, which is so delicious, but it does have sugar so I'm off it for my four week challenge. Really craved chocolate tonight because I'm tired, tired, tired and irritable. I had a honeybell instead and that seemed to work. Ha, ha, Olaf is doing kettlebells and I'm doing honeybells.
-
30 mins on treadmill.
Night sculpted friends.
-
Went to bootcamp tonight after work. Ready for a hot bath and bed.
Sweet dreams all.
-
Had the day off so I was able to take more time at the gym. I did treadmill and exercise bike for a total of 90 minutes. Tried out a new stretching machine at the gym that was great.
Then I treated myself to a pedicure.
-
Went to a Grit Cardio class, thought my lungs were going to come out of my chest
-
Made it to the kettlebell class this morning! Could have used a Honeybell after:-P
I make my own salad dressing with either lemon juice or Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar. Easy and you know what's in it.
-
i walked 1 hr 40 min, 5.5 miles. It was 60 degrees and so nice yesterday.Doesn't make up for the 3 extra slices of pizza damn it.
-
Got in a 6 mile mountain hike over the weekend. A bit chilly - just over freezing, but it was nice to get away. This was a new trail for us, and it was beautiful. The top of the mountain was covered with mountain laurels - acres and acres of them. I can't wait to go back and re-hike the trail in the spring when they're all in bloom.

-
Mary, wow, sounds and looks like a great hike!! Between Christmas and New Years, hubby and I visited the 5 Canyons in Utah! The snow looked beautiful and even though it was cold, we did some hiking!!
Had a great walk yesterday, and plan on walking later today
-
Mary that is beautiful!
I walked my dog about a mile this morning.
