OMG. Poor Boy. Oh, I feel it. But I feel it near my heart, on the front side.
I need the birthday list too. What happened to that? It's all just been out of control. I need to get back on the birthday list train.
Hi Betty! **waving** Wow, your recipes sound so good. I am amazed that you make yogurt! You are amazing! You and idesim are on the same H schedule? I, how has that been? We have not talked about it lately.
Loved hearing M's tea-time dessert orgy!
-
That's the perfect description, tea-time orgy! You always have the perfect descriptions for things... I love it.
-
Oh thank you Idesim! Herceptin infusions can contribute to weight gain? So that's the problem! My last infusion is Wednesday so I guess I will begin dieting on...Sunday! Lol Seriously, I couldn't figure out why I can't lose any weight. Hopefully it will get easier after I stop the Herceptin!
Poor boy! He looks like he has reactions to so many things! He has got to be uncomfortable. What a trooper!
I really have to try these Tim Tams! Ya'll make them sound better than sex!
What are Maltesers Dawny?
-
Hi Dawny! Waving at you! gorgeous day here today, I hope your treatment goes quick and you can get out in the sunshine.
ldesim, it was morning tea, 11.30 am, lunch isn't till about now, 2pm will be making Vegan veggie bites in the Air Fryer and salad, no, not tossed, nooooooooooo!!!!! with roasted garlic hommus, soup for dinner tonight!
Bobo, the only thing in TimTams that you can't eat is a bit of whey, it doesn't affect me, and I don't ever eat dairy. There is a dark chocolate version too, but they still have some whey protein. I think the original has 11 in a pack and less for the different flavor ones. They do small sampler packs too.
Spookiesmom, I remember all the sticks Bec had to get for allergies and Asthma, never gave a moment of trouble, but then you'd see another kid, carrying on like they were being murdered for one little stick.
Glennie, glad you enjoyed the Birthday Song! M x
-
oh my, all that before lunch? lol!! Glad to hear you are not having tossed salad.
SGC, that's what my onc said.. I was blaming the Tamoxifen and she said it was probably the Herceptin. Glad to hear you will be done!!! I imagine though, it might take 3 weeks or so to get out of your system... that gives you plenty of time to experience Tim Tams (while not better than, they can be comparable to sex HA!) before you go on a diet.
Ok,I need to step away from these threads and get a few things done before bedtime.
-
Sgc maltesers are little malt balls coated in chocolate. They look like Whoppers but WAY better!!! You can find them in the International aisle of some grocery stores. They are in a red packet. My DD is obsessed with them. We get them in Canada, and in UK.
-
**waving at Dawny** You've been making a lot!! Wow! Can I move in with you? I am not in a cooking mood at all. M has good food too!! Really need to think about moving to Aus. -
I Love Butter Chicken. Must look up Vegetable version.
-
-
Seriously?? I have been trying for weeks to post pictures and this is the one that finally uploads?? Lol
-
Mmmmmm, Maltesers are such melt in your mouth yum.
-
candy porn. -
I don't think I'd like the malt things.. I am not a Whopper fan.
$10.99 seems a bit much for Tim Tams, they are rather small packages. I looked up if my Target store has them, and they don't
Probably for the best.
-
They are much better than whoppers (which I don't like either). And the chocolate coating is good.
-
Thanks Andrea! Guess I need to find these as well! Yum!
-
Evidently, they are not the same.. I just found an article (I'm supposed to be in bed)
http://www.meniscuszine.com/articles/20081021992/t...
-
I love how Andrea's picture of Maltesers package features an open package!
-
Not the same. I prefer whoppers as that's what I grew up on. DH loves maltesers.
My to do list is a mile long. BG's diaper leaked in our bed in my side! Ugh. More laundry.
3 2 1 go!
-
oh damn now what do I do? I accidentally deleted DPs thread, can't find it!!!!
-
can you go to search and try that? I am not the most tech by any means so just throwing it out there
-
oh damn, now what do I do? I accidentally deleted the other thread!!!! How can I get it back? At all
-
I will look for maltesers and try to find Tim tams, not that I need anymore sugar addictions!
-
spookie
You probably just blocked it. Go to menu, dashboard. Scroll down to bottom and unblock it.
I've done it before. Frustrating:)
-
Whew! Thanks Z, that worked
-
Bobo, only you would notice the open package.
So, here's my question. Is it bad to drink say 3 fruit/veg smoothies a day? Other than they give me plenty of time on the throne(and yes that is where I am writing from....get over it)
I thought it was a good thing. But now I am reading it can cause diabetes.
-
I am type 2, that's a new one to me
-
There is a lot of sugar in fruit,, but it is natural,,, not like drinking 3 sodas a day which is very concentrated sugar. I wouldn't worry about it. Are you getting some protein too? -
Yes, I am getting protein everyday. Thinking about using protein powder in smoothies. Any recomendations?
-
My daughter has her mamo today. Keeping positive thoughts.
