Symptoms of mets

That's what I feel I deep kind of nagging pain in my right leg/hip. Enough to make me grouchy but not enough to call the doctor.

I'm posting in here cuz not sure what to do. Leggo this was helpful. I started having regular pain in June in my upper back and base of skull/and neck. I had IDC stage II lymph node positive. Cancer had actually busted through the node and lymphovascular invasion. ER and PR + HER2-. Run of the mill bc. Had ACT dose dense no radiation. Left MX. This was in 2008 so I'm well past the 5 year mark. Couldn't be mets right? Any thoughts? I'm thinking arthritis since I'm 50 now. I hope I'm just being paranoid for no reason. Nothing seems to be relieving it.

This is a good thread and very helpful! I wish none of us had to second guess what our symptoms are and certainly wish we didn't have to worry with mets. I am back to excercising again (4 years out) and swear I have more aches and pains than ever before. I wake up with pain in my joints but have always blamed it on my Arimidex. I am not sure I will know mets when/if I get it but sure thank you all for sharing your experiences so I can know what to expect. -
grneyd5600, I've never thought about possible mets in 5 years. But yeah, I'm wondering now. I was on Arimadex but stopped because of side effects. Anyhow, I'm not sure if I would know if I had them either. I was stage 2 which is early but I guess we do wonder about it! I appreciate the ladies here they helped me when I had bc in 2008.

Oh dear. I just realized I never checked back in. My chest was a skin infection and I needed a specific antibiotic that required me changing my blood pressure Meds and the cough cleared up.
Now I am wAiting for an MRI to see what's going on with my back. MO hade do one with no contrast last week and radiologist wanted it done again with contrast. I get the results Monday. It is so. Exhausting...,

SC, Did you get the results???
I have a lump that's developed exactly where my BC tumor was. I go on Wednesday to get it checked. Never ends, does it? I think we went through chemo right around the same time. Praying fo rall benign results for you!
