has anyone had any loss of sensation in their other arm? The opposite arm from the breast that was worked on? It's the arm my IV was in.

    My arm was numb from about 4 inches above the wrist to the fingertips. I regained all feeling in about 48 hours. I'm thinking it was from the nerve blocks they put in my chest. (I had a BMX so work on both sides, but this was the sentinel node side).

    this side didn't have any surgery at all. The nurse said that sometimes the IV can cause odd sensations in the arm for a bit.
