That's right, what would heaven be without our pets!
-
Without a lot of four legged love and kisses!

Footprints - The 'card'you asked about - are you asking about a card that shows the alphabet in ASL (American Sign Language)? If so, you can google American Sign Language and fine it. There are also signs for many/most words so they don't have to be spelled out. There are also sites that can be found on line showing at least some of them and there are books/dictionaries that can be bought. You local Deaf and Blind Council (different names in different areas) should offer classes in ASL.
Edit added: Do not give money to those who come up to you and hand a card that says something to the effect "I am a poor deaf person so give me money for the alphabet card.". Scams! I out them all the time when I reply in ASL. They will usually yell something about " Crazy Deaf woman" and walk away or just walk away without replying to me in ASL. I am not deaf but fluent in ASL - my brother is deaf (not 'hard of hearing' but never has had any hearing) so I have been around the deaf culture and ASL.

My furbabies are playing this morning. Its hilarious to watch them. The dog used to play with Charcoal in the same way. Keeping a close eye on them.
-
Thanks Kicks, I will look into that, sometimes I get out of
breath and use waving and sit and she does very well, I just
learned Good girl in sign from a friend, and got a clicker to
bring her to me and it work if needed. Thanks I will look that
up. God bless You and Merry Christmas.

This is my special boy with Santa
-
What a cutie!!! -
I so need a new furbaby - this was the hardest Christmas to go through. Everytime I come home, no one was there to greet me.
-
Shelley, just too cute, adorable in his little outfit. I love Bostons. That photo needs to be framed and hung on the wall!!
GmaFoley, I am so sorry you had to go through Christmas without your furbaby. Hopefully next year will be kinder and you will find a little buddy.

I had a good giggle the other day watching my two. Poodles are supposed to be smart, Maltese, just pretty.
So, Spookie has a toy Kris the poodle wanted. She wasn't going to give it up. Kris brings another toy, drops it by her. Nope. He brings her Another toy and drops it by her. Nope, she's not budging.
Kris sits down and waits for her to be distracted. I'll admit to helping there. She lost attention, he shot in, grabbed the prize, and took off. She's in hot pursuit, barking her head off. Imrolling on the floor.
-
Spookiesmom that is so funny! My furkidz all had a wonderful day.
-
Everyone enjoyed the day This is Pistol, he did get his favorite kitty treats but thoroughly enjoyed a long nap in one of the boxes.
-
HEALTHY & Happy New Year to all the people, dogs, cats, other domestic friends, outdoor friends and all creatures.
-
Happy New Year to all.
I hope that all that lost pets this past year are able to accept a new pet into their hearts.

Have been came after by a dog in a stroller that is not
trained, It is hard to turn in a wheelchair, when a baby stroller is
coming right to You and the dog is very loud to be in a store.
They told the manager it was a comfort dog. Can You tell me why
comfort dog are not having to be trained to go in a store. and if
You are in a wheelchair, how can people keep bring their dog barking
next to mine. Thanks Footprintsangel and Faith my four legged angel.

Sitting here laughing my head off at the antics of my furbabies. Princess got on Jackson's dog bed as soon as he got up from it and as soon as she gets up from it, he'll get right back on it.
-
Yes, I feel the same way. Almost like she understands more than humans do
Here's to health and happiness in the new year. Brrr I'm cold.
-
GoldenPaws!!!!!!!!! Love her, she is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy we have a pet section out here. Bump up to the comments about Heaven..........can't imagine there IS a Heaven if our pets are not waiting for us - I personally look forward to the day when I can see all my babies again.
Look at how naughty Bella was being in the tree!

I heard a heartbreaking but inspiring story on the news today. I didn't quite get all the details but a lady and her kid(s) were sitting in their car with their German shepherd when gunfire started and bullets hit the car. The dog pushed the lady to the other side out of the way of a bullet. He saved her life and took a bullet in the neck. Then, injured he tried to chase the shooter. The lady's husband who I don't think was in the car found him dying in the street and tried to revive him, breathing into his mouth but could not save him. The family was heartbroken and the husband was crying during the interview. A kind lady who breeds dogs drove 750 miles to bring them a German shepherd puppy when she heard about it. So much sadness and kindness. I hope that there is some sort of bravery award for that poor doggie that saved his owner. He will be in Heaven for sure.
-
OMD!!!! How sad!! Gunfire? Where was this???? I don't want to ever be there
-
What a brave dog! Such a sad story,, but really nice of that person to drive 750 miles to bring them a puppy. -
I just googled it. It was in Georgia. The dogs name was Noah. It was a road rage incident that the family were not even involved in at the end of November.
-
How nice to hear something good comes out of something so bad.
-
Very sad story. What a brave dog.
Here is my old guy. He will be 16 this year. He is starting to really slow down.
-
He looks such a sweetheart. Those eyes!! I just want to hug them when they give that look!
When I took my doggie into the yard this evening she started limping. She was fine once she got to the front door and was charging down the hall with no problem but we always worry as she has pins in both her back legs from surgery for genetic knee problems.
-
Tigger used to limp when she wanted attention. Once you gave her your attention, then she wanted to play. LOL. Been 6 weeks since she has passed. Wanting a new furbaby, but having healing issues from my surgery. Not sure i can handle it.
-
oh, Gma,, I bet you do want a new furbaby. Hopefully you will heal up soon!! -
Gma, I too so hope you heal up quickly. Just a thought, maybe an older furbaby may be easier than a puppy when you are ready.
-
yes we will adopt another older dog.
-
Love this! Every pic has made me smile. From the kitties to the little pups (who have big hearts) to the lovely Goldens who always seem to be so soulful and smiling. I'm a dog nerd. Love them all. The story of the German Shepherd in GA is heartbreaking.
I have two German Shepherds and my hubby's dog is an Aussie. My female German Shepherd is the most bonded to me. She is a loving snuggle bug to her family, aloof with strangers (always on duty) and fierce if she senses danger.
My dogs have all provided me great comfort, especially the last 6 months. After chemo sessionwas done I couldn't wait to get home to be with them.
