Waiting on final path report. Could be today.

So, I had a double mastectomy on Dec.30th. Preliminary results say no lymph node involvement, YAY! But, is there anything specific that y'all can think of that I should be asking my doctor when he calls with my results? I mean I read my book my hospital gave me, but anything with terminology that I should be 110% clear on, that sort of thing you know?

    I do hope that you get your final pathology today.  I know how the waiting can be.

    I don't know anything specific to ask other than the type of cancer, stage, grade and lymph node involvement.  I'm sure that someone else will come along with more questions to ask.

    I will try not to think about it. I think I am as prepared as I can be, but if anyone has enlightening words of wisdom to bestow upon me, feel free, LOL

    I wouldn't call these words of wisdom, but make sure you get a copy of the report. When all is said and done, you may have more questions and you may want to look them up yourself or come to BCO to ask questions. Heal well.
