I had the stereotactic biopsy today, really wasn't bad. I unfortunately had to sit up for mine b/c of where the abnormal area is and keep my head turned. It all took about 45 min, got about 5 samples. The MD said they would only give normal results over the phone so hopefully all is well. Won't find out till possibly a week. I'm actually so much more relaxed now that the biopsy is done, weird. Will update when I get results

They should call this period "Diagnosis Period" instead of implying that there is one fixed point in time for diagnosis. It's more like a month (more or less) period while facts are being accumulated, for most of us. For me, I don't think I really understood the implications of my cancer until I had had my first scan post chemo. That's a few months.

I'm glad that the biopsy process wasn't too bad. That's been my experience that the actual procedures are pretty painless. It's the anxiety that causes the trauma, isn't it.

Yes the anxiety is just awful! I had a tubular adenoma removed from my colon when I was 25 and was never as nervous as this made me. While I'm praying for benign I really just want to know SOMETHING, to know my next move.

Got my B9 results today!! What a relief! Due to the pathology results(which I will receive in the mail) I have to follow up in 6 months, but still great news! Thanks for all the kind words. For all the ladies still waiting for results or in battle,I pray for your strength and B9 results as well.
