Pain after almost 5 years.

Almost 5 years out and still having lots of pain periodically in arm where lymphnodes were removed and all over mastectomy area. Was told it is scar tissue. Is this normal? I get very sharp stabbing pains in the breast area often. Also feel like I have creepy crawling under my skin. Just curious if all of this is normal.

I am not far enough out to advise. My pain is still too recent and I don't know how long it will last. But I have read other stories here of continuing pain. So I don't think you are alone. Best wishes.

I am still apparently recovering more sensations and I can also feel pain in good breast. I need to make an appointment I am a little afriad.

The stabbing pains are the nerves growing back together, which they do for years & years. I don't think the achy feeling goes away all together ever.

I am having burning pain in both of my reconstructed breasts and am quite afraid. I had my double mastectomy last April. Going to the doctor today to find out what the burning sensations are. It is all pretty scary. I have had nothing but infections since my surgery last year.
