I have major menstrual cramps today. Have rarely had them since 12 yrs. old. So what's up with that?
You know I really try to stay out of the debate section, but finally took a dive.
Debi-Creams? for the scars? -
Margarita cooler with meds for me tonight.
finally weent to see a doc on my back and he labeled it as L5 Sprain, keep up with the meds I'm taking, heat & ice plus motrin and PT. Start PT at 7:40am tomorrow, Yikes!
better not stay up too late tonight -
Yeah Lini that's in almost two week! bet you'll be happy to have that done with.
-
Congrats Lini- I know you are anxious to move on. Welcome home Vickie, . Donna- Silver Oak Cab? Oh, so jealous. If you like niche vineyards I'm having a fab '02 from St. Francis Winery in Sonoma called "Red". Big treat.

Hey lini when you are celebrating your expander implants, I'll be celebrating my 2 yr dx anniv. Whoo Hoo!
Oct 4, 2004! -
That'll be great, though I doubt that I'll be up to a celebration drink with you. I'll likely be doped up. But congratulations anyhow!!!

Debi,
I'm not worried about you or anybody else that posts here. Just try to mind my own business. I try to be upfront also. Nothing to hide. Just little ole weird me. LOL!!

I can be deep and shallow, but cute, never.

Lini, I have been too afraid to schedule my swap out. Don't know why since this cement-boob is not very comfortable. I do know I don't have vacation time left and it will be unpaid time off work and I have lots of work ahead of me. It totally sucks.
Actually, I wish someone someone was else was sucking!!
Drank a few Kendall Jackson reislings and now a nice chardonnay ...... I swear I shoulda named my daughter after a wine. -
Wasn't it KathyLee that named her dogs Chardonnay and Chablis?? I don't think you'd want that darling little girl of yours named after KathyLee's(gag me)dogs.
Then you'd be Reislingsmom. Teryn is much nicer.
No disability or sick leave left? I hope it works out soon. Cement has got to be really bad in there. What do you do for work? I'm thinking that the time off and recup. should be much shorter than previous surg. Maybe we can figure this out for you if we put our heads together.
lini -
Just the thought of Kathy Lee makes me gag . It could make a person lose their taste for those wines.lol.
I am also having surgery in Oct. I am having both implants replaced. I hope I'm doing the right thing . My boobs are lopsided and one is almost in my armpit. My arm rubs it constantly. My ps did not use expanders with me, so my boobs are pretty firm. He is going to make them slightly small and hopefully they will soften. I wish I had done my homework before I had my first surgery!! At least I wish I had found this web site first. There is so much first hand info here.
Oh well....it's a work day, so no drinking for me. Everybody have one for me tonight! Cheers!!

i went to get my hair trimmed and a manicure today and i think i kinda got flirted with.........never thought i'd see that day again lol! -
Still nursing a bottle of wine here....what you mean you didn't think you'd ever see that day again? You ARE Pinkytuscadaro, after all...
Donna -
Pinky - You go girl!!! Yum, love GreyGooseDirties. Can't open up the bar yet. Still gotta run the boy to soccer practice and back again. Two and a half hours and counting to go.

Having beers in the back & watching the birds again!
cheers
Grubby -
What kind of birds, grubby? We have a hawk that has been trying to feed on another bird's nest in our backyard. You can hear when mama bird gets mad, but the hawk keeps trying. We also have a flock of parrots that fly from the west to the east every sunrise, and then from the east to the west every sunset. I think that they are mating because they've been extra noisy lately and have been flying over a little later than usual. Just finished the last beer in the house. That means DH only had one tonight and he really didn't want to share the last one with me, but I won.

Help! Am I losing my freaking mind? Is the Debate It forum GONE??? I spent so little time there, but wanted to post tonight because on my way to work, then again on the way home, I hear the drug and hospital commercials talking about their cancer center stories...I just can't take it!!! I nearly re-live the whole experience each and every DAY!! Navartis, Sutter Health, Genentek (sorry for the spelling). Does anyone else feel this way? Do you hear these commercials, too? "This is where I heard the news; This is where I lost my hair; This is where I decided to fight....no one knows what the future holds for cancer patients, but we're fighting....etc." It's driving me nuts!
Whew - that was a rant. Cheers!
Janie -
Janie,
Glad to see you on the thread you started! (sort of)
I think we should just debate stuff here. Isn't it ridiculous? I pointed out to those who didn't like the debate thread that the caption under "Debate" basically stated "reader beware" but SOME people had to complain and now it's gone. This thread will probably be gone someday, too, as I'm sure SOMEONE will say that drinking isn't funny!
JMO as always.....

Sorry, but I don't know which commercials those are and I'm sorry you have to hear them! Have a drink or two or three..... Cheers! -

btw......you made a spectacular point over in the debate section, very well said!
It's funny (I was going to use weird, but Debi calls me on that all time), but I really tried to stay out of the debate, and did for quite a while. I finally got the nerve to post something that I have always questioned and the whole forum is gone. Just confused like always. Always on "that" couch.
lini -
may i join you on your couch?
funny thing is, now some are pointing fingers over in moving beyond, so what's the difference lol?
oh well, i'm staying out of it for a change! -
Lini
You had nothing to do with the Debate Forum being removed. I didn't see anyting wrong with anything you posted there. You just had bad timing in posting right before it happened. -
Thanks, Jasmine. Like some, I am not so full of myself to think that I hold such power. Just frustrated and do always seem to have bad timing when I post.
lini -
Um, Lini, perhaps you should stay away from this one, too? (j/k) Luv ya!
-
lol janis!
o/t i'm going to tinairene's dad's visitation on friday (right after i go and buy something that fits yikes)
if anyone wants to convey a message to her you can let me know and i'll include it in a card and a modest donation to the cancer society ok?
cheers girls......i'm getting my gummies after all at 9pm on sept 25th........i am very relieved and thankful to my ps for taking on a double OR day to accomodate me. -
Are you afraid that I'll kill this one, too?
Oh, woe is me.... -
Are we still talking about drinking here? I'm sitting here with a glass of wine and they just made me feel really bad over on a thread in Hormone Therapy.
Can I hang out here for awhile?
