I had my 3rd fill a week ago.  Now the right side looks bigger than the left and higher up. Is that unusual or fairly common.  I hate to keep calling the nurse with questions

I had that happen. I mentioned it at my next fill & the PS adjusted the fills accordingly. I wouldn't worry if I were you. GG

Hi, happily retired, and welcome to the forum.

There's a whole thread devoted to what to expect with Tissue Expanders (TEs: A Beginner's Primer), and even though it's gotten kind of long, if you read it, you can see what we've all gone through with those pesky TEs.

There is another thread for TE Trouble, but I wouldn't read that unless you ARE having trouble. It does happen, but much of what we experience is completely normal.

My TEs often looked like balloon animals. I never knew which way the saline would settle in the beginning. At the end, Lefty looked like Sponge Bob Square Foob, and Righty looked like a diagonal loaf of French bread.

But no worries.... all is fixed at Exchange, when you get your permanent squishies!

yes, that is normal. When I had my final fill, mine was up a lot higher than my natural side and my surgeon would not do an exchange for 3 months after a final fill so I had to go around for all that time uneven. When one was bigger and one smaller, I could kind of pad one but you can't raise or lower a tissue expander. I just tired to wear clothes with lots of patterns or jackets or something but it really bugged me to be that way.
