Pain with lipo

Had exchange and fat grafting on Friday and the only place I"m having pain is from one of the donar sites. Mine was taken from my sides, about where your bra comes and a little on back, again, about where the bra comes. I'm heavy, so plenty of fat to pick from. Anyway, incisions and all with the lift and exchange, no problem but on my back, kind of under my shoulder blade, its it hard and painful. Is there anything I can do about this? I've read about massage but of course, I can't reach my one back. Any ideas?

Are you in a compression garment? If not, you need to be. You will feel so much better. Massaging is not a good idea. The tissue is damaged and needs to heal itself.
I had fat grafting the Friday before you (Dec. 19th) and I agree, the donor sites are painful. Mine are six places on my abdomen. The first three or four days were the worst. When I was sitting still, there was no pain, but when I stood up I got a rush of pain that had me shouting, "Chit, chit, chit!!" as I tried to straighten up. I'm 8 days post op and it's much better. I still feel it some when I stand, but I've stopped cursing!
I'd say it's about 70% better. By the way, I haven't taken any pain drugs except for Tylenol the first two days. After that I quit because it only hurt when I stood so there was no point medicating for pain that wasn't there.
I have no bruising on my abdomen at all. I had none on my chest for the first 5 days, but now see some yellow bruises. I'm wearing a surgical bra but it doesn't have compression. My plastic surgeon said it shouldn't have any compression since it was trying to establish a blood supply to support the injected fat. I have 7 tiny holes on my chest and two on my left side where the fat was injected. Each are closed with a very thin self absorbing stitch. My donor sites have no sutures.
I have an elastic band about 12" tall that wraps around my abdomen from just below my breasts down to the top of my legs. It's kept tight and taken off only to shower. It feels better when it's tight.
I have another incision about 4 inches long on my left side and going onto my back. A "mudflap" was removed and I had scar revision. due to many scars from 6 breast surgeries. Other then some stinging once in awhile, I don't feel a thing there.

no compression garmet but I'm not thinking of one that could go where mine is. I had these pads he said to put in my bra, I guess to make that tighter. This is a place on my back, right about where your bra comes around. None of the other sites are sore or feeling like this, just this one place and i know what feeling you are talking about. When I would turn over in the bed or move certain ways, I would think man, that hurts. Can't feel any problems with incisions on lift side or exchange, just this one place.

Hmmm, that is a problem. You don't want compression on your chest but you really NEED it on the donor sites. I've read so much on the subject and you heal better and faster with compression of donor sites.

angelia - there are some garments that cover the back but are cut below the breasts in the front - here is a link:

I searched the house and found a sort of sports bra thing I had that comes up higher in the back instead of being cut out at the shoulder blades. I am trying it to see if it helps. I'll also look to see how far up the back comes on those spanx. Thanks for the suggestions.

angelia - if you look at the link it gives you a back view also, and it comes up pretty high like a tank top. Def higher than a regular bra.
