Just stopped through to browse and see how everyone was doing. Hope you enjoyed the Christmas/ holidays with your family. This year was definitely different... so many reasons to give thanks.

I'm scheduled for my silicone exchange on 1/28 and I'm looking forward to moving on to life after cancer.

My prayer is that you and your families are well. Thank you for creating this safe place to talk and share.

Thank you, muzakmom1! It's a challenging holiday for me as well since my surgery (mastectomy + 1st reconstruction surgery) is on 01/14. Trying to cope with the waiting anxiety when sharing the happy holiday moments with my 3 children. Thanks for the wishes and kind words. My best wishes for your silicone exchange as well. I am happy for you that all this will be behind you very soon. Yay!

My wishes go to all sisters out there as well, no matter which phase you are at in this battle against DCIS. We are all here together for each other. Thanks for this group! :)

Hello Musakmom and Charlene, lovely idea, to start this thread.

I am 2 years out, from a DCIS Dx and a Umx and SNB, I can't believe how fast the time has flown.

I am coming up for my 4th, 6th monthly check and this one is feeling much easier, than the previous ones did. I didn't reconstruct, and haven't had any regrets about that decision. I have managed to become completely comfortable with my Uni status and have learned what I can and can't wear. The new normal, although different, feels pretty good!

    All in all, life's good!
