Angelfaith and Ally, so happy to see the two of you reporting in!

Angelfaith, Yay, that's over with- Hope you feel better and better every day! Wish I could wish away your leg pain.

Ally, Yippee for the clean path! Glad that's behind you and hope you heal up soon!

Quilt- Wow, 9 core biopsies-- Well that means they're really sampling it well so you can feel confident in the result. SO hoping it all comes back benign!!! Ugh--- Waiting!...

Mandy- I hope the sick feeling has eased up and you'll have some feeling OK time before the next chemo hits. Does it work that way or am I saying something stupid? Forgive me, I'm chemo ignorant.

Bobo- I can see that hopital scrubbing itself sparkling clean and aseptic--- Surgery ward wants to make an extra good impression, because thinks that Bobogirl is going to get all fixed up fine enough this time, so won't need to pass through there again (Please please please!!). Bobogirl will go home content, and feeling pretty darn good, just a bit sore----surprising herself by realizing that her brief well-cared for stay wasn't bad at all! Surgeon is practicing his be nice skills, too, because he realizes that being a great surgeon is not enough.

Bobo - I have percocet and oxycodone, but I'm down to just the Percocet. So far I'm feeling good except my bladder is still not happy. It was spasming in the hospital from the catheter and still feels inflamed. Tomorrow's the big day right? I'll be thinking of you! Keep us posted!

Quilt - I hope you get results soon. We're all with you. Big hugs!

Ally, call your doctor tomorrow, and see about getting a couple days worth of Pyridium.  It is a urinary tract analgesic.  Makes you pee orange!  But it should make you feel better.

Ally - hooray for a clean path report.  Hope you will be good as new soon.

Quilty - we are here for you!  Hoping for great things!

Angelfaith - Hope you are recovering nicely and hoping for good pathology.

Bobo - thinking of you too!

As for me, I am doing good.  Chemo #4 is 12/26.  Right now, it is just weekly blood work.  On Friday, my white count was actually normal but my blood clotting level was too low.  My MO upped my meds and I go back for a recheck tomorrow.  I am feeling good, just tired, but that's okay.

Hoping this weekend to bake some cookies, candy some pecans and make some chex mix.  Then...on Sunday...Hobbit marathon in preparation for the next movie coming out.  It comes out this Thursday, but we are going the following Tuesday because it will be less crowded, cheaper on Tuesday and the kids are out of school.

ally - Woohoo! for good path report and successful surgery!

I had my exchange a week ago..I feel bad that I am still in pain..I have the largest -800cc mentors..I look smaller than I was, but that is what I wanted..

I have bruising starting to show up and it hurts big time where PS had to lipo on the sides to round it out..I have no idea if I am going to like them or not..Still too swollen to get an idea of what I have..

All in all, I'm just happy I am alive and cancer free:)! I'll take the pain for now...

Hi Angelfaith! Don't worry -- I hear your new boobies won't look anything like what they look like now. There is something called 'drop and fluff'... don't judge them now. Sorry you are still in pain! You sound like me -- you just expect to be out of pain by a certain date, and that's that :)

I am okay. My PS is a big fat liar. I have a good prognosis, looks like no infection so far. It's hard to describe. He wants more surgeries than I do. I have already felt trapped, and I will not be having anymore surgeries.

I'm here too, thank you for your kind words. I believe you are the one responsible for my having a clean OR! Day three after sx for me, and, like Angel, I would like to be off all pain meds. But according to the info I have, day three is the most painful day.

How are you doing Ally? Sending everyone hugs.

Allydp...so glad your doing good ! My ooph went great..I was cleaning the kitchen the next day ! Im in more pain from bmx still than I was from the oophorectomy. Although I did end up with a severe UTI from the catheter I think...my back is killing me. Thank you to everyone else for all the caring comments :)

I haven't been on for awhile..kind of slumped into a depression I guess. Not sure why..

Im getting ready for my 3rd surgery and I want nothing to do with it ! Yes, I want these dam expanders out of me but it seems like just as I start feeling better BOOM another surgery and down I go again. Im in a lot of pain from my last fill 3 weeks ago ! Im soo done with this pain game..I don't want to play anymore. Im tired allllllll the time, more like exhausted. And Im so done with taking pills...sick of them !

And of course Im starting to freak out about this upcoming exchange because those stupid thoughts are creeping back in...what if they find more cancer ?? I hate it ! Slim to none chance they will but that doesnt change my thoughts.

I went to see my GP last week for a physical and she freaked when she found out I was taking tamox ! She called my onc while I was sitting there but couldn't get in touch with him. She told me to stop taking it ...I have been trying to get in touch with onc to no avail. I think I need to find a new one. I guess maybe this could be part of my depression..Im not on anything preventative which is very worrisome for me. The last 3 nights have been so bad for sleep. I am having hot flashes..I cant sleep on my left side because my left shoulder is killing me ( I had the rotator cuff repaired in Feb 2013..then lumpectomy 2 weeks later !)..I cant sleep on my right (cancer side) because my right foob is killing..cant sleep on my back (never could but ) because that's killing me. I feel like Im falling apart

Oh boy..sorry about the rant ladies..I feel a bit better now that this is off my chest. I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet because Im so broke..I don't know what Im going to do :(

I feel so freaking lonely and depressed...I called a counselin cnter a few days ago but its an 8 week wait...theres other ones around me but this place has therapists that will come to me and right now that's what I need because when I get into these slumps I don't go anywhere :(

    Hi!

Just checking in Ladies. Doing much better! Have had a lot of energy, so I've been out and about shopping!! Saw the PS on Thursday and everything is healing nicely. Won't see him for another 8 weeks. Pain only comes when I drive my SUV too much. In time I will get stronger and that pain should go away..

ganzgirl - You can rant all you want! Sending warm {{HUGGS}} and positive prayers for you!:)

ally - Hope your recovery is going well!

Bobo - You make the decision that is best for you! If you don't want any more surgeries, you have a right to not do anymore. Stand firm.

imhere - thanks for the words of encourgement! :)

    Hi ladies!

Bobo - I'm so glad to hear your sx went well, but man, I'm not liking your PS. Good for you for putting your foot down. I know the pain meds stink, but hang in there. Hopefully you're already through the worst of it. Keep us posted!

    Angel - yay for shopping!

Ganz - I could have written your post. These 3 surgeries back to back like this is TOUGH. I'm battling a little depression myself and I truly think it's the anesthesia. Both sx now I've gone into a funk around 2 weeks post op. It lifted around 6 weeks out last time, so I'm banking on that again. And I actually just went in to my surgeon who did the ooph/hyst to check for a UTI. I could have sworn I had one, but it came back negative. I was doing some research and bladder discomfort is a common side effect from this sx. Something about the bladder being jostled and needing to find its new home. I'm taking antibiotics though just in case. When is your exchange? Mine is Jan 20 and like you, I'm kind of freaking out about being down AGAIN. I'm just so tired of being laid up in pain. I've basically been down since I started chemo in February. I'm over it! Sending you big hugs!

Ally dp..hugs girl !! Wow we have so many similarities..uti right after ooph here too..got so bad it went into my back ! I was on 2 different antibiotics. Now..I have some kind of infection in my elbow :( So, Im back on two more antibiotics and now Im freaking out because exchange surgery is only 9 days away. But your very right, having so many surgeries so close together I think is the cause of my depression and yours. Im looking forward to exchange but Im not. I just started feeling better from ooph and now its time to go down again :( But, my depression has liftted for the most part.

Im soooooo fing ready to put this shitty year behind me. My birthday is tomorrow so I get 2 fresh starts when I wake up on NY Day bring on 2015 !
