New study shows that Triple Negative benefits the most from a low-fat diet.

Findings from a long-term analysis of the Women’s Intervention Nutrition Study (WINS) show that the deaths of women with hormone receptor–negative breast cancers were reduced by up to 54% when they followed a program to reduce their dietary fat intake, which could provide benefit for patients with triple-negative breast cancer.

I have also read other reports from that same study that indicate that losing as little as 5 pounds after treatment and keeping the weight off for 5 years can increase chances of survival for us TNBC gals. It may be the weight loss that the participants had rather than the low fat that produced the good results according to some of the other reports. In any case, healthy eating and weight loss is generally a very good thing for most of us!
