Has Perjeta now been approved for early stage (versus metastatic) HER2+ BC? If so, is this a recent development? I am completing my Herceptin treatment in February and my MO has not mentioned Perjeta as a possible treatment for me, possibly because it is a new protocol and not yet available in my country (I am Stage IIIC)

I also think it has only been approved before surgery for early stage Breast cancer in US. I think this is why my oncologist recommended neoadjuvant chemo over adjuvant- so I could try the Perjeta

I got Perjeta for early stage BC, but I did neoadjuvant chemo. I did it every four weeks with Taxol and Herceptin. My lump pretty much disappeared, but it had already been shrinking with AC, so who knows whether that protocol made the difference.
