Looking for some input, waiting and worried..

Hi ladies I have a question.. This past month has been so crazy! I am having clear sticky discharge from my left breast, mammo, mri, and 1 ultrasound came back inconclusive. So 3 days ago I go in for a ductogram, the doc couldn't get into the duct so he decided to do one more ultrasound. In the middle of it he says " There it is right there we're doing a biopsy right now." So of course I panic..and not a needle biopsy, I'm not sure what it was called but he cut into my breast. He really wouldn't say much so I guess my question is should I be worried due to his urgency? I already was in the first place but this made it worse. I'm doing my best not to think about it and stay positive.. :/

    I'm sorry you are going through this. Of course you are worried. I think your chances of it being benign are the same, with or without the doctor's "urgency."

    Thank you :) I know I'm sure everything is okay I'm just driving myself crazy. Finding this website has helped, I'm a single mother and I don't have a lot of people to talk to.

    You are entitled to be worried but remember that even radiologists and doctors can't know if it is BC just from scans. Only when the biopsy results come back is a proper diagnosis possible.

    You are better to have a doctor who checks fully than one who puts you on another waiting list or just disregards it.

    Hoping for benign results, and soon.

    I'm hoping I'll know before Christmas too. I can say the doctors at the breast center are great, it's been about a month and they are on the ball. The only reason it took that long is my OB took forever sending orders to them.
