Treating estrogen responsive cancer naturally

Geese Ladybird, I wish that I had some helpful answers that could help you but I don't. I will say though, don't ever give up and keep researching the subject. Also, try the baking soda regime for 6 weeks straight and see if the tumor shrinks. You will never know if you don't give it a try.

Becca, oh, if that could be true that the nutrients stay for up to 72 hrs...I'd get a blend cup ready the night before! I have a Nutri-Bullet and it has lids for the cups which have rubber seals.
Also Becca, your baking soda experience is amazing! But with all things AltMed, there are arguments against and I read something about baking soda that scared me a little so I wanted to mention it:
I read that baking soda is just salt and carbon, and that the baking soda regimen is hard on the system due to that. We shouldn't have all that salt, and carbon is a waste product filtered through the liver, which is already overworked due to its regular duties and filtering cancer wastes too.
You've had a miracle already so I guess you don't need to worry about it. Did you ever have any side effects on this regimen? I bought some baking soda but now am a little afraid to try it.
I have been looking into a water alkalizer/ionizer. They're expensive though, and there is debate whether they actually do anything so, I need to do more research.
Take care all and everyone!
-
Add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to water and it alkalizes your system, a lot cheaper.....
-
Ditto!
-
Thanks for the lemon water suggestions! And Brettsie, that...sounds....DElicious!
-
Yes Brettsie, I'm taking Brevail. Iodine had already shrunk my breasts by 3 sizes but then they started to get sore again so I got some Brevail and problem solved. It didn't shrink the tumor though.
-
Is Brevail safe to take if one is in peri, like me?

Thank you, I had never heard of the Nutri-Bullet until just now. I briefly checked it out, VERY NICE!!! I'm going to purchase one and juice fresh everyday instead of juicing in advance. Nice find!
One does need to be careful when doing the baking soda regime. Just as you pointed out, too much sodium CAN be very harmful. And it is extremely important that one tests their PH levels several times a day to make sure that their not overly alkaline, as that can cause serious health problems. One needs to stay in the 7.4 PH range and not ever exceed 8.0.for any length of time. If taking one teaspoon of baking soda with a glass a water daily proves to be too much, then cut back the baking soda intake to 1/2 teaspoon with a glass of water to see how that works. Every body is different, and each person will need to experiment with the amount of baking that they are using to find what works best for them so that they can keep their PH level in the 7.4 range. Also, it may be best for some to split the dosage in half and take it twice a day. The important thing is to take the baking soda and water separate from when you eat. It should be taken on an empty stomach.

Thank you Becca for the suggestions on the baking soda. Yes I've heard 7.4 is perfect for us but I also saw a video on You Tube where someone was saying that cancer cannot grow at all if you're at least 8 or 8.4 - this was a long time ago. And I have read that when drinking alkaline water, whether from baking soda or a machine, to not take it 20 minutes before or after eating a meal containing protein or dairy, as they need an acidic environment to digest properly.
The Bullet is fabulous, you will love it!

Cee, The thing is that if your body gets alkaline enough to kill cancer, it is likely to kill you too.
This article seems to give a balanced and clear explanation of the whole PH thing: http://drbenkim.com/ph-body-blood-foods-acid-alkaline.htm

Thanks, Brettsie.

DD called yesterday. She read a report that she said recently came from NIH. Supposedly any plastic containers even the good ones release estrogen chemicals when heated DH relies on prepared dinners when we are busy with appts. Supposedly if you pop them out do the plastic container and put them in Corningware or Pyrex it's ok. Anyone hear about that? She is in medical school and reading all the latest to help mom
-
I never heat anything in plastic and it's not because of bc or estrogen. I just always heard the plastic releases chemicals that are harmful. I've just never been a big fan of plastic anything when it comes to food. I don't think you can go wrong by swapping out plastic bowls or plates for glass or Pyrex or corningware
-
We don't have a microwave, so not really an issue. I don't like plastic, though. Always seemed unhygienic and smelly to me. I store food in stainless or regular porcelain bowls
-
Chloesmom
Plastic; heat, storage; chemicals
Glass and BPA free containers are best for storage; glass and stainless to cook in without any plastic coatings in the pan (Teflon coatings, etc.)

-
interested to learn myself and organic where possible and Chaga mushroom
-
one thing I've been wondering about too tho is Pyrex. It seems to be mixed with something to make it heatproof and less breakable, but what? I'll look into it.
-
Got my pyrex from the Goodwill store after I read the CR article. Vintage pyrex. Cheaper than the new stuff and lots better!
-
My glass storage containers have plastic tops. I always hand wash them, because the heat from the dishwasher releases chemicals. I use stainless for everything I can, and keep my nuts, rice, etc., in glass containers.

Estrogen responsive cancer..... from my own research I've concluded that estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, IGF1,2,3, GH, HGH etc are all involved in the Western cancers because their primary role is to promote growth...... The macrobiotic diet that had some successes in the past has the strength that it is nearly plant based. We are basically plant eaters, just add B12 because our hygiene does not supply us with enough bacteria. This is what the China study tells us, this is what the WHO data tells us, this is what dr mcdougall tells us and after having done my own research, they are right. http://users.tpg.com.au/freestro/cancer.pdf

Hello everybody and Happy New Year, all the best of health and happiness in the new year !
Has anyone tried Graviola leaves tea? Does it work?
thank you
-
Aromath - I drink graviola juice and eat the fruit ... I had no idea you can make tea from the leaves. What are the medicinal benefits of this?
-
-
Aromath - thank you so much for the information! I find graviola fruit absolutely delicious - it will be a pleasure to eat more of it. I have a friend who grows it on his farm and who always gives me bags full of it when it is in season. Until then, I am hoping to be able to at least find some frozen graviola to make juice out of. From what I read on the links, it is also purported to be good against diabetes!

not to rain on anyone's parade, but... I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. I had a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP reconstruction. I chose to quit tamoxifen after two weeks because of bad side effects and have been doing supplements and change in diet. Now the cancer is back. Things might have been different if I'd taken tamoxifen. Or maybe they wouldn't have been. Now I'm waiting on test results to see if it has metastasized.
-
Klanders, I am so sorry to read that you have recurrence.
Edited because I misread.
-
Dear Klanders
I am so very sorry to hear your news. What a blow this must be. Sorry to appear ignorant, but if you have none of your own breast tissue left due to your double MX, where has the cancer appeared? And how did you find it? I also don't understand why you are waiting on results to see if you have mets as I would have thought this was all that was left to you as you no longer have any breast tissue.
If you don't feel like answering I can understand as you must be in such a state, but I simply don't understand.
Sending very best wishes.
-
We're so sorry to hear that, Klanders... Hugs, thinking of you.

klanders, so very sorry to hear your news! It is an incredibly tough decision to not take tam. or an AI because there is no certainty that they will work and one has to weigh whether suffering from severe side effects for something that may not in fact work is worth it or not ... I also experienced very bad side effects and had to stop taking AIs (I tried 2 and wasn't allowed to take tam. because of a previous pulmonary embolism). Please try not to beat yourself up about not taking tam. or an AI. I wish you all the best and am sending you a big hug!
