Annette thinking of you...
-
Lucy, I've just sat down for a break....lol....needed a cuppa. I've been busy in the kitchen making bread, which is proving right now and just done the custard base for the plum pudding ice cream. Loads more to do though as i still have to to the pastry for the mince pies and then bake them. My lot go through about three dozen in a matter of two or three days!
Hope you get your shopping all done before the mad rush of Christmas Eve!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Susie.. Congrats. ! Enjoy your new grand baby !! !!

HI girls, had mamo and scan, they did not biopsy it, as they believe it to be b9, the results will be out about three weeks in time for follow up,if the radiation team, think they should biopsy it, then they will investigate, meanwhile i have to wait, they dont appear too concerned at this stage. thanks girls for support. and hope you all have a merry christmas.. and be safe through out the season. love to you all. xxxxxx
-
Glad to hear that it doesn't look threatening, Midnight. I don't know if that makes waiting any easier, but I certainly hope so, since it is quite a while to wait.
Best wishes to you for a very merry Christmas, and a happy (and healthful) 2015!
-
Had my second fill this morning!!! They actually put 75mls in this time. So im now at 415ml of 550ml expander.
Should only need two more and then I'm done until exchange!Really coming together now!!
-
Wow Sue! So glad that all is good now and he is home poor little mite.......what an introduction to the world! We are coming to Adelaide tomorrow night and will be coming back late on Boxing Day......would you have time for a coffee? If not we'll have to catch up another time but do enjoy those two little boys.
Annette I'm so glad that so far the report is all good, that's got to relieve your mind somewhat. Here's hoping that the rest of the report is as good and that you don't need a biopsy and even if you do, it's just an added precaution. Take care lovely and enjoy your Christmas.
Melp that bump is growing into a beautiful boob! Woohoo!! Not long now to completion!!
Lucy, how are you doing?
Heading down to town tomorrow night to our youngest DD's house ready for Christmas Day. Plum Pudding ice cream is done and in the freezer and I did some fresh strawberry ice cream as well. four dozen mince pies done, dusted and in the tin ready to go and tomorrow morning I will skin and prepare the ham ready for the oven on Christmas Day as prep the glaze to take down. My bit of the feast id done, done, done! Thank Goodness!!!! Now to relax and enjoy the rest of the holidays.
May not have time to get on the boards tomorrow so in case I don't, I wish all of you the best Christmas ever!!! What ever you are doing, where ever you are, take care!
Love n huge hugs!!!! Chrissy

Hi allI went to my follow up appointment at the hospital yesterday about my D&C, same as my GP said, they didn't find anything so have discharged me at the moment. I'll just have to see how I go with my periods.
I felt really bad again over the weekend regarding constipation , but not as bad as last time. I've got a feeling that I'll have to change my diet.
They stuffed up my roster at work for this week so I had yesterday and today off, I was supposed to work today but they changed it to a annual leave day, am working on checkouts !!! tomorrow then all day boxing day and Saturday then have 3 days off.
Annette good news so far, try not to think about it (I know it's hard)
Melp looking more like mine everyday, looks good, I'm glad I had an implant, the hospital took photo's of my reconstruction, I might try and get copies. feels weird knowing that there's photos of mt boobs out there. LOL
Suzie congratulations.
Hope that everyone has a great Christmas.
Carol

I have hit the shops yet again today ..Ugh .I was trying to avoid it ..but ..I guess I'll just try and get there early and hope for a park !!
-
Mel - what a wonderful pic - it's getting there.
Midnight - good news that they think it's benign, a huge relief for you xoxo
Sue - congrats on the new grandbaby!
Chrissy - have fun in Adelaide.
Carol - you have to work Christmas day!!?? That's terrible, I thought the supermarkets were closed!
Sorry I've been missing for a while, we went down the coast to Bob's sister's place and had a lovely relaxing couple of days with her, but no internet!
We've finally finished all our pets with santa photos and wow! They were actually a lot of fun, and we made some good money from them, which is great. I've put my favourites below for those not on facebook.
My only problem now is I have a huge abscess on my tooth (yes Chrissy again!) I had my teeth cleaned last week and sometimes that stirs my bad tooth up. We are trying to keep it as long as possible, as getting it out means a new partial plate and that's $2,000 worth, and I just can't afford it at the moment. Went to the dr today and got some super antibiotics as the amoxyllin wasn't working this time. He tells me I'm not going to enjoy Christmas dinner tomorrow as one of the tablets I have to take can alter taste and make me feel nauseous. So long as it's not as bad as chemo I'll cope lol.
So - just in case I don't get on here tomorrow, I wish you all peace, joy and happiness this Christmas and above all health.
With love to all my sisters xoxoxo

Santa is howling along with this lovely boy :-)
-
Happy Xmas to everyone here!!! Probably wont get on here tomorrow so I wish you all a happy and healthy new year!!!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday!
I'm feeling much, much better. Swelling has gone down, and I got to enjoy Christmas lunch and dinner, didn't make me feel sick at all.
We are now looking after Finn's half brother for a week - so two Irish Setters in the house, and they are having a great time playing with each other lol.
Love to you all
Trish

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, I certainly did. The whole family came around including my elderly mother and of course they all stayed longer than I had hoped, so they must have had a nice time. Hubby and I went to our neighbours place on Christmas Eve at the spur of the moment, and I had a couple of drinks. As you all know, I have not drunk since diagnosis just over 8 years ago. I had a Rose and then a Muscato, yum. Anyway, because I am not home often, I thought that I should be a bit more sociable as we do have lovely neighbours. Of course, I got home late and did not feel too good in the morning. A lot of rushing about in the morning, as I was meant to have everything ready the night before, hehe. By the time everyone came, I was in a lot of pain due to the lymphedema which is also in my chest and upper back (this has been missed by almost everyone treating me by the way) . I went to the local pool twice yesterday and I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and my lymphedema has somewhat subsided. So I am off to the pool again and hopefully will continue with this on a daily basis as my daughter and grand daughter will be moving in with us as soon as she sells her house. This means that I may be home a bit more, not sure though. I will be taking grand daughter to the local kindy here this year, but I still have mum and the other 2 grandies as well.
I have been reading your posts almost daily, and enjoy reading them as well. I just wish there was a "like" button just so that you know that I enjoy reading the posts. Also a warm welcome to the "new" ladies here, and as you know, you will learn a lot from each other.
Warm hugs
Mandy xxx
