Hi all. Saturday, 1 hour at gym in pool, Sunday at gym 1 hour on bike, treadmill and weights. Tonight did 3 mile, 45 min walk with Leslie Sansone DVD.
Kindegarten, I have a link to the concert. PM your email if you want me to forward it to you. S&S, I also enjoy singing in the choir. So uplifting and everything around you becomes pretty minor. hbcheryl, knew you couldn't resist getting that recliner! Very easy to fall asleep the entire night because they are so comfortable. I know you didn't need the violent storms but you did need the water out there. badger, give your mom a big hug from me.
No decorating here since I'm alone and will be in Florida for Christmas.
Night my sculpted friends.
-
Body step and pilates at the gym this morning.
-
Christmas cards done and mailed out today. Hit the gym after work today for a 30 minute walk uphill on the treadmill.
Happy Monday!
-
Zumba tonight & 30 minutes lower body toning. I am pretty much 'don't sweat the small stuff, and it's almost all small stuff', but I do feel a little Holiday Stress this year because:
1. being gone for a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas is not great timing for getting things done
2. one of my teacher friend's mother unexpected ended up in the hospital (out of town) over the weekend; I subbed for her today, will tomorrow, and possibly the rest of the week depending on how things go. I am very happy to be able to help out in this way, but yikes on my 'to do' lists!
-
18 holes today and TRX this evening. PIYO tomorrow.
-
Patoo I loved the concert, I listened to it today at work, it was nice to see you if only via video. Wonderland isn't dancing the best, you just feel so happy when you dance.
Spin class tonight
-
Did my 1 hour on treadmill 3.5 miles. I couldn't wait to get off that thing my feet hurt today. Tomorrow is swimming.
-
9,000 steps not including a visit to an art museum (forgot my phone in the locker). Patoo, great to be singing in a choir. Good for your soul and your lungs. Getting ready for a pre-Christmas trip. Thanks, Olaf, for reminding me to pack the TRX. PIYO looks very interesting. Wonderland, beware dancing is addicting.

I have almost recovered from my weekend of catch up exercise. But it was pathetic yesterday as was limping around with thighs screaming at me. I did my walk anyway. I am really decorated for Christmas for the first time since moving to Seattle. Old place was only large enough for lights. Now, I have the lights on my deck railing and a real tree. I am enjoying it so much. Just lights and silver balls. So pretty.
I am finished steaming the first round of puddings, so feel I have made headway in at least one area. Will be giving those to a lot of people I know. I will make a second round over the weekend, so 12 altogether. Also migrated over to my new work computer. I think I have done everything I need, but passwords are the worst. Now to load my 2015 calendar.
Ruth...subbing means that you will have funds to pay off Christmas, or perhaps buy yourself a couple of extra "presents".
I am so looking forward to Thursday afternoon. I will finish up shopping in Seattle, then dinner and a show with my guy. It's always so much fun. More to come this weekend.
Happy holiday prep everyone! I so love this season. Hoping too that I can get in some skiing...... Always makes me feel most alive and just the most glorious time ever. - Claire

60 minutes on the treadmill today, just a tad over 4 miles. I think today I walked 1.5 and ran 2.5 total, including one 1-mile segment. Feels good to be getting back in the early morning swing of things. I still have some shopping to do, some baking to do and tree putting up to do but am not stressing about it yet. Kids won't be home until the day after Christmas so Christmas Day should be pretty relaxed for DH and me (except I'll probably be finishing up gift wrapping.....sigh). May get together with friends that evening.
Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!
-
Body balance this morning and yoga tonight with son. Tired (in a good way) so off to read in bed - night.
-
90 mins in pool. Was going to stop after 60 but aerobics class was starting and almost looked like only 1 'student' so felt bad and stayed but more came so after 30 mins I left.
Concert was nice and fun but now I get to relax and not stress over trying to remember the words to all the songs (we sang 10).
Going to read for a little and then turn in early. Night sculpted friends.
-
Good day. Good stretches and added weights
-
Tuesday night is TV guilty pleasure with The Mindy Project and then early to bed as tomorrow is 6AM spin class. It doesn't look much like Christmas at our house as we are headed to Texas next week.
-
12/14- been off track here, but back to report 20 min doing resistance training at the gym tonight, followed by 35 min of fast peddling on the bike. Doing over 10K steps a day regularly now.
-
Today's exercise was housecleaning before company tomorrow. Got over 10,000 steps with all my running around.
-
Crazy day; squeezed in a yoga class and 15 minutes on the treadmill. Tired in a tired way!
-
Didn't swim today but vacuum cleaned upstairs did laundry and rapped presents I couldn't make dinner due to pain. I think I need some meds legs feet and arms are so sore.
-
Three mile run last night - opted out of the dreadmill to run outside - it was dark with a light drizzle, but still so much better than the dreadmill! Half hour of PT exercises this morning.
-
60 minute group class at the gym this morning
-
Freestyle double step, legs, bums, tums and body balance at the gym this morning.
-
Going down now to hop on treadmill for at least 30 mins, maybe more.
-
75 minutes of mowing the last of the leaves in the backyard. The backyard looks nice and I got a great workout.
-
Today's exercise was housework including vacuuming, laundry and more walking while scouring local thrift stores for the perfect ugly Christmas sweater.
-
treadmill 45 mins - YAY! Those voices are really working every day.
Night sculpted friends.
-
I am ending up teaching the whole week, plus I have something every night, so it is pretty crazy. Did some abs when I got home from school, went to Zumba, took a shower & went to my Book Club. Will cards get done tonight? Probably not!
-
Got in the pool today for the first time since Sunday. Had my trial infusion and my second Zoladex shot both Monday and I'm wiped...couldn't handle more than that 20 minutes swimming.
-
Tabatta and core early morning. Off to pick up DD from Dulles after a semester in Brussels.
-
12/17- hour with the personal trainer on Wednesday. We have three sessions left and are done with our work together next Friday (12/26).
Going tonight again to bike, and then do a few laps after!
-
I have gone to the gym every day this week and have taken a walk each day! Watching what I eat now, since being diagnosed with Acid Reflux and I Have lost 10lbs!! Bread was such a big culprit with the symptoms, so not eating much bread anymore! feeling better
