Kracker, looks like your family got the same good looking gene Ducky's has. Such pretty eyes.
Ducky, I know you say you feel old, but I've got to say I just can't believe you are 79. That's still shocking to me. You don't look anywhere close to that age.
Blondie, haven't you heard about the Christmas rule? My Mother always said, "never buy anything for yourself until after Christmas. You just never know what Santa will bring."
GMA, there is nothing better to me than a good hot shower. I'm so glad you got to have one. Sending good thoughts for quick healing.

Morning all my wonderful funny friends I am laughing so much. Have loads to do today and I still haven't done most of my Christmas cards. RA has made life very difficult. So people will get cards after Christmas.
What beautiful photos of grandies and wow Ducky you look great.
I will join any party that's gong.
Big hugs
-
Somehow, this thread fell off of my favorites! Love the photos and am so glad Gma checked it with the best card!
I need to tell someone to STFU! Not sure how to go about it though. This woman is in many of the same social circles as my DH and I. Her kids, too. She disagreed with my DH in one organization our families are involved with. The committee voted, she lost. She slandered my DH... said horrible things about him to many, many people. Anyway, I view her as my enemy because she messed with my DH. Well..... this bitch found out somehow that I have cancer. Today I open my email, and see that she has sent an email to over 50 people telling them about my cancer, asking them to bring us meals, chastising us for not letting her know earlier and so on. She even sent the email to people she knows hate my DH and I. (We dared to stand up for some kids and do the right thing and the "sweep it under the rug" parents now hate us). One of these people have a kid that stalked one of my kids, stealing his stuff, destroying his school work and so on.
This woman is a public "do-gooder" and an awful person if you don't agree with her. I'm venting now, but this is my news, my health. The only people I told that they could tell anyone they wanted to were my kids. My DH just told me he will handle this if I want... maybe he's afraid I'll loose it with this woman. LOL.
If I do lose it with her... can I blame it on my chemo/cancer?
-
Alyson, I haven't done my cards yet either. My DH suggested sending cards after Christmas.... wishing everyone a Happy New Year instead!
-
yes, you can blame it on the C if you loose it but hey, always accept help these days so let your husband deal with it
yeah, telling folks is huge and should be on your terms
-
Some people just don't know how to handle minding their own business how is this advice......
-
OMG pop hit wasn't hers to tell i would definately say that, what r u going 2 do
