2ndtime aound- that post about shelves reminds my of my DH old boss back in CA. We innocently asked if his wife liked the great outdoors. He laughed and said- "you mean like camping? My wife's idea of camping is heading to the Hotel Aster in Paris and opening the windows!" I had a mental picture of that and cracked up.
Gritgirl- we have a cabin and one time our neighbors invited a cop and family. We did not realize that he brought his HUGE GINORMOUS German Shepard up to the cabin and had it in a crate next to his truck. So we got up and all my dogs were doing the universal potty dance. I open the door and off we go down the porch, got at the bottom of the stairs and everyone stops cold. We hear this low rumbling menacing growling. We look around... that's when I see the HUGE German Shepard. Big as a small pony - in a crate thank goodness. I have never seen my 3 dogs pee so fast and bolt up the porch steps and into the cabin! I don't know what that police dog said to my 3 dogs, but it sent them in FULL retreat! Pretty funny.

Julie- He was beautiful carmel colored German Shepard with a dark mask and ears... very very intimidating and huge. My pooches are woosies... ears were back tails under... yikes. I have a sweet border collie, corgi/westie mix and a doxie/russel mix probably all together didn't weigh what the shepard weighed!
I love the snow men.

MusicLover that poster pic in the background is of my cat Jazz who died long ago in the early 90's - I caught a lovely shot of him yawning! Well spotted!
Christmas tree is still standing Yaaay! (Only got to keep it that way for another 12+ days....)
KiwiCatMom that must be it, exactly, the tree fainted. Sincerely Arthur (the cat)
This is Arthur taking part in our Nativity scene last night. This is not a staged photo, he just decided to make himself comfortable there
