Oh MAN! I could hear you WHISPER...Ha! And of course the new larger "domes" make my ears itch.... some allergy to plastic/rubber, but I will use the "Calm Ear" on my ears, until they get used to the new "stuff." Gotta be SOMEthing, right?

all is well. The drains will come out next week. I could probably get them out on Friday but we have a big storm coming in and I'm in no rush. Everything looks good. She couldn't get the do gears done but can do them later if I want to. Anybody ever have this done under local?

I spent all day yesterday reading the constipation thread. Was getting a little worried, but all has cleared the shoot as of this morning! Yeah. I am going to start taking fish oil and probatics again.

I think we all love a good story, so keep them coming

Hope everyone has a good day.

No, my car didn't come with a spare tire, no room for one. DHs 14 Nissan doesn't have one either. Got the tire warrenty on mine, don't know how to use the kit, hope I never need to figure it out. A/C is a good thing in summer!

What did doc say about your cough

She called in another prescription.... an antibiotic...I think the Z-pak... I'll pick it up in the morning... We stopped by the STORE, but of course it wasn't there..."not called in"... even though she called me on my cell, to say it was THERE... So I had to call back... but don't feel like going out again today...

"Probably Bronchial Asthma, which I knew, but it's just hard to exhale... especially at night...Just have to work through it.... It IS worse, but I'll get the antibiotic tomorrow.... I just don't know why it started! I was FINE when I went for my physical.... then a sore throat, then sniffles, then all hell broke loose.

Thanks for the info about the spare... DH & Nephew are looking on Craigs List and a junk-yard. There is "room" for one, and DH will cover it with something... maybe a board... then of course a jack & lug-wrench. I'd just rather call road-side assistance.... but he just thinks we should be prepared...

Have you ever used those nasal rinses? Man, you could blow your whole brains out! Those help too. Hug Spookie for me.... such a darling little girl!

Smaarty - bet you're familar with Ariom from Australia (I lurk on way too many threads). I think she had her uni MX dog ear removed under local. Bet your big storm coming is the one we're getting this weekend. If only it would bring the sun after it. None seen today and it's still a chilly 58. I think that is around our normal temp but darn it I need the sun.

Been washing loads of laundry - 3 sets of bath mats, dog pillow cover. Next is 2nd bleach load of towels left from mess last week. Tomorrow I need to tackle the dreaded dog bath. That is unless I can leave it for DH on his day off Friday.

H1O - I love "unfunked". Maybe should be my daily wish "to be unfunked".

luvmygoats- Guess it would depend on how big the dog ear is and if you could stay still enough for the plastic surgeon to work.

As far as sleeping, I move different places most nights (spare bedroom, couch, recliner), our house is usually 68 degrees, my feet keep me up and I have restless leg syndrome or periodic movement syndrome as the sleep doc said. What ever it is - it keeps me awake. I used unisom yesterday and got some sleep - never enough and it gives me a headache the next day. You know I have tried a few SSRI's and didn't feel they did anything. So I stopped. I am leary of trazadone. I never would have thought that to rid the body of estrogen would so effect the ability to sleep. oh well

Pouring here and more on the way, just glad it isn't snow! Sorry for all the weather back East. Guess California will get hit after us..

Stay warm and dry folks. Love the cartoons.

Rosie.... Is it the Aomasin that gets rid of your estrogen? Could you try something like Tamoxifen, or ask about it? I know it works differently, and it "blocks" cancer cells from feeding the estrogen.... or something like that...instead of getting RID of the estrogen... I'm just sorry you can't sleep....

    Maybe you could even ask?

Chevy- I asked about tamoxifen and got no answer. Maybe because I have had a DVT they don't want to give me that. He wouldn't say. Aromasin makes your joints hurt like an old rusty tin man and gives you insomnia. Sucky.. oh well.

You should go get your zpack tonight and start it. I hope you feel better. bronchitis sucks.

So how do you like your new car? What color did you get? Does it handle in the snow ok? Did you name it? We named our Subaru (before it got rear ended - Soba which means "lets go" in Chinese. The Passat is "Millie" for millenium 2000. My trusty Caravan is named "La Cheapa" by the kids who were all disappointed that we didn't get something exciting and showy...to which I replied you can always walk! My DD didn't want to drive it because welI it's a mini van and bottom of the line; what if one of her friends saw her! I wanted another name but "La Cheapa" stuck...:-( My DH even made me a "La Cheapa" mix CD to play.. boo. I like my van and can get a ton of things in it. You should name it!

Hehehe if I were to name my car it would have to be jalapeño. That's the name of its paint color. I never loose it in a parking lot

I've used trazodone for sleep for some time. No side effects that I can remember. It takes a week or so for your body to adjust to any new med.

This is my "new" car! We just got our emissions passed yesterday... For SOME reason, you need to have your cars pass an emission check, or you can't renew your plates every 2 years... Now next week we go get the new plates, etc!

Well I could name it "Beer Hauler" Ha! But that whole idea kinda rubs me the wrong way...You KNOW how much I wanted to haul BEER in my pretty little car... Ha, ha! But we went and got the damn BEER... but DH said he would get his Brother to go get it next time... with his T R U C K !!!!!

"She should have a name like "Princess Chevy"... or "Cruz like you mean business".... or something more inappropriate.

It's so funny, because this whole "beer thing" shouldn't rile my feathers, because I've done this for probably 20 YEARS! And I WORKED for COORS! But just the thought of putting that much BEER in MY CAR? MY NEW CAR???? Just made me mad miffed! It's always been about 4 cases... And they only weigh 18 pounds a case... so that's like almost 2 people sitting in the back seat... Ha, ha! But I made a fuss... Yes I did!

Actually I wouldn't want even that many cases of Pepsi in there! Just the thought I guess...Makes no sense... right?

Rosie, I'm getting the Z-pak this morning... but my chest is a little "looser" this morning... I'm just thankful I have the Nebulizer...and Mucous Relief.. and Inhalers... and Nyquil... and blah-blah....So I will take it easy today...

Got my exercise bike the other day, but I won't put it together until I can ride it! Now THAT thing is "cute".... Ha, ha!

Spookie, what did you name your car? You are on the last page... It's green right? Kermit? I could name mine Tonto... You know... silver-bullet and all? I keep forgetting where my car is in the parking lot.... Then I remember I can hit "unlock" and my little lights flash! So MODERN these things! And my Husband doesn't get in..... until I push the "un-lock" button! Now THERE'S a mean thought! Watch him stand there, so patient, and I finally unlock the doors and he can get IN. And I smile sweetly.... I have ALL the control now!!!!!!!!!!

AND I told you, I found the AC button!!!!!!!! I am just a regular WHIZ at this stuff now!

Nettie... those little kids are soooooo cute!

Mags LOL you are so right, I love stories. The material is beautiful. I see dragons. I've learned that only the royalty (?) could wear dragons. That was likely very expensive cloth. AND I do recognize the candy dish. Matches the dress perfectly  :)

Jwoo great web site. Makes me think even more this is a man's costume. None of the woman's costumes button down the front. I tried to google history of timeline of men's clothing. couldn't get anything to come up. I thought that web page you had might have a similar page for men, but I couldn't pull it. Maybe you can. What kind of accents? The frogs are ornate. Other than the sleeves being turned on the grain. I would say it's quite simple. The stitching ---what should I look for?

Smarrty--in your pocket :) even if your home--------I slept yesterday away.  I had my dog ears removed in the fourth sx under general. PS used them for nipples.

LMG hope all is gong well with the clean up---I just wouldn't be up to it.

    Nettie sweet and lovely :)

    Blondie---281? Code for?

Chevy, glad you finally got your car AND you're learning all it's "tricks".

Paid $2.29 yesterday for gas. Average here is doing $2.45

I'm such a bad reader, I don't retain stuff anymore, so sorry for not commenting on everyone.

I remember someone has snow and there was talk of car names.

Hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas.

I do have a rant that I just need to get off my chest and I'll do that later when I'm at a computer, typing in this phone is too hard.

Sassy- I think 281 was gas prices in Philly... could be wrong. It's 269 here, not at Costco. Raining...of course

Spookiesmom- Name it after a beer "Porter" or a name you especially like- we had a station wagon growing up named "Betsy," no kidding! Princess Cruz or the Duchess.. etc. the Silver Fox....

Be careful driving from CA to LA...

Teka, love love love the pics!!  But I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the snow!

Warning, this is a rant, so you can feel free to just move forward without reading!

Since November, I've seen my MO and my PCP!  I'm so disgusted with what seems to me to be lack of care!  I hate that you have to act like a hypochondriac in order to get things done!  I just feel like someone should be monitoring things more closely!  I shouldn't have to be my own doctor!!  I got so aggravated in the PCP office that I was ready to just throw out all my meds and see what happened and actually see if any test would change!  I know, I'm probably NOT making sense, but I just feel like at some point since the end of my treatment, that I should have had a lung x-ray and some sort of test for my heart since the Adriamycin can be damaging!   I also, to this day, still have not had any testing other than routine blood work!  And why in the world won't they check my vitamin levels, I mean, they have me on b12, d3, calcium and a multi, but how do I know if the levels are right??  And yes, I did ask and was denied!  Just told to keep taking them!  I also posted on the Tamoxifen thread that it was causing my blood pressure to go sky high 156/104 and when I called MO to ask about it I was told "if YOU think that is what is causing it, just stop taking it"!!  Like he was pissed that I suggested that!  However, since I've stopped, blood pressure is slowly coming back to normal!  Go figure!  Anyway, I've taken a doctor break!  Won't be seeing anyone until May unless something happens that I just can't deal with!!

End of rant!  And I do apologize!
