if anyone could please direct me where to go for some input? I know there are directions here but crying too hard to read them.

My path says

Invasive ductal carcinoma

Ki67 unfavorable,ER positive, PgR positive, Her-2 equivocal 2+

I'm 47 with a strong family history of breast cancer yet somehow this surprises me maybe because I found this lump and got the biopsy while spending the inbetween time buring my daddy. Bad week anyone

Oh scaredchick, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a parent is terribly hard.

As to your Dx, have you seen anyone yet? It will be easier to navigate through the boards when you have heard the options available to you and you have a plan in place. I can imagine how overwhelmed you must be feeling, but have to agree with Brettsie, that you are in the right place for support and information. The women here with a similar Dx will share their experiences with you.

Let us know how you are getting on....sending you a hug!

Scaredchick, Welcome to BCO. So sorry you are having to deal with a diagnosis of BC. My condolences on the loss of your Father. Such a tough thing to deal with on top of your diagnosis. You've come to the right place for support. This link helped me a lot to understand my diagnosis. I hope it helps you too. Please post back often so we know how you are doing. Gentle hugs!!

thank you for the support it does make me feel stronger.

I had appointment with surgeon to get some info and treatment plan which I know will help to just have a plan and information however this awful staff has now changed my appointment three different times! Who does that? They were busy seeing "normal patients"

Lucky for me I have a great primary doctor who did lots of research and we know it's a fast growing cancer so she has set me up with my bone scans etc... Etc... While we wait. And she got me accepted as a patient with top surgeon and breast cancer team at Johns Hopkins hospital. Unfortunately that appointment is not until dec 23rd.

Right now I feel the waiting is the worst part but I only say that because I haven't started treatments.

For now thank you for being my life line....

So sorry for all you've been through . The waiting is the hardest part. We've all been in your shoes and understand your shock and grief. John Hopkins is top notch and you'll be in good hands. In the meantime, stay off Dr. Google ...most info is outdated. Come here to ask questions, for info and support. Hang in there, it will get better.

Scaredchick, The waiting is for sure the hardest part in all of this. I found distraction is key....online games, books or whatever can keep your mind off of thinking too much.

I'm not sure how unusual triple positive is but I do know there is a group of lovely ladies that have a thread devoted to TP. I've included the link below:

I'm sure they can answer any question you may have.
