barb, which side is the port on, and which side is the LE on?

Ports are sure a blessing when you need them, no?

hi binney. The port is on the r side and the le is also on the r side. Unfortunately that was the only choice they had. Left side is scarred from chemo and veins are all deteriorated Arm and leg are out because I play golf and am generally too active ( yoga, Zumba. Etc).

barb, check with your LE therapist on that before you try it. I'm going to guess the answer would be no, but there may be a way to do the truncal part of the routine by hand and use the pump for the arm only. There are bound to be ways to manage this, but it does keep on presenting new challenges, doesn't it?

Let us know what you discover, please! Gentle hugs,
    Binney

my therapist told me to ask mo. I see her tomorrow. Interventional radiology nurse said pump should not affect the port. We will see

ok, so they ( mo, le therapist, and interventional radiologist) all agree. It is ok for me to use the pump.

Any chance you might have a local seamstress able to take it in? She'd have to understand about the seams being on the outside, but it might make for a better fit.

    Hugs,
