Any IBCers with an infection??

Mom is currently in chemo and so far has done pretty good, in these last two visits mom was told she had an infection not by blood work but by look and warmth of breast has this happen to you??

    I had no infections at all during chemo.

    What chemo is your Mom on and is she getting Neulasta shots? Is she currently doing neoadjuvant (pre-surgery) or adjuvant (post surgery) chemo? They aren't doing blood work before each infusion? So many things come into play.

    she is on pth perjeta herceptin and taxol(I think taxol) zometa every 6 weeks. She is on neulasta. She does get blood work every time but they say blood work fine and just base on look and warmth of breas
