Spookie is right. Starbucks is a restaurant. Dogs not allowed inside unless service dog. What is Starbucks doing allowing this?  Manager should have told the guy to remove his puppy.

Great pictures. Foot's I would contact the manager. Maybe dog's are allowed in Starbucks, but the dog needs to be on leash and the guy needs to respect space. Most places have leash laws.

I'm all for having Pet's in stores.

What irritates me is when they don't follow leash laws and control their pets.

I know they have vests for service dogs that say they are working, please do not pet.

I'm not sure if that would help in this instance.

We had an instance not too long ago in our town where a gentleman brought his dog into one of the home improvement stores. He let this dog go up to a little girl, and the dog bit her. He didn't even stop to see if she was ok. He got out of the store quickly. They ended up arresting the guy. He just recently got six months house arrest.

I think pet owners should be more responsible. My dogs go nowhere without being on a leash, and being controlled around people and other pets.

I'm fine with having dogs in stores, but they need to be under leash control, or riding in a cart, or something.  Many people are afraid of dogs and it is not fair to them to have some strange dog walking up to them. Slow:  I'm glad they arrested that man. I'm sure he left quickly hoping to avoid just that!

Footsprint: does your dog have a "service dog" vest?   That way people should know to leave her alone.  Except for the stupid people anyway.

Agree with you.  The little dogs get classified as "emotional support" dogs.  And I am sure that some people really need them.  People with PTSD, kids with autism, etc,,, but it is terribly over used.

shots and pet lis tags. I don't understand how people can lie about

dogs and ride them where children sit without a cover. But that's just me.

Faith is still doing ok, But I just say she is work right now, she cant be bothered.

anyone know were I can find a card to help me, if I have trouble breathing

Foots I hope someone can let this man know his puppy is not welcome in Starbucks.  Clearly it is not a service dog.

It infuriates me to no end when people fake these things.  A service dog is trained to do a job.  The title is well earned.  People willing to fake that just to bring their dogs to s store should be fined, and harshly.  I know it is impossible to enforce unfortunately.  To me it is like seeing a healthy person pull into a handicapped space and pull out the wheelchair sign.  It probably is for a parent or grandparent, so to use that sign because you are lazy is ridiculous.  All of these people should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

I agree about our furbabies going to heaven. I lost my beloved 7 yr old furbaby that is in my avatar to kidney failure a month ago. I know that Charcoal's in heaven waiting for his family to join him there.

I"m not Catholic either, but I think I like this Pope.  Heaven would not be heaven without the furbabies.

Now the news is saying Pope didn't say it. Well, they can't have the world abuzz with this, so they have to retract it. Grrrrr
