Well, the one I'm glad I survived was being the confirmation guide for a group of 9 boys (none of whom really wanted to be there) in a four year commitment..... every Wednesday night during the school year from 7th through 10th grade!!!!!
(DS's class, I didn't feel like I could ask him to go if I weren't willing to do it). That was hard, hard work!

Another golden retriever. We had to put our old girl down in June and now just have our 8 yr old boy, Hogan. He will be so happy to have a sister and playmate again. For now he's getting by playing with my parent's two goldens who are here visiting for the holidays!

Oh fun! A tiny kitten adopted us right when I was finished with treatment (literally, she showed up on the steps of my husband's office on a cold, snowy day and wouldn't leave), and she was such a joy (although our two older cats were not so amused......cats do not appreciate new playmates like dogs do!).
