Surgeons in the DFW area?

I was diagnosed last Friday and I am worried about finding the right Dr. Does anybody know where I should begin? Moncrief has been very helpful and I have to wait until after the holiday for them to give a list. I want to start researching on my own but just don't know where to start??

I saw Dr. Amy Eastman in Rockwall, LOVE her and her staff. I also recommend Dr. Sally Knox, I went to her for a 2nd opinion and have a family member who used her for a Mastectomy. Dr. Knox is one of the best in the region, she is out of Big Baylor in downtown. These are Breast Surgeons, I assume that is what you were looking for

I was told about Dr. Seda in Arlington. It says she is a Breast Specialist, but it just says M.D. after her name. What else should I be looking for? What if I like her, but she's not a good Dr.? I looked up Dr. Laidley too. Will they show me pictures of their work? My mind is so cluttered with questions, I think I'm going crazy waiting!! I am having a hard time focusing. Sorry I'm all over the place.

if you don't mind driving to Denton, Dr. Carolyn Garner is absolutely wonderful or Dr. Kerry Perry (really that's her name) she is BC survivor as well. She left General surgery to focus only on breast. She is wonderful as well.
