I know, Spookiesmom! I've got the Sunday night blues, too.

That picture of the cat in the box cracked me up. I remember years ago when my kids were little how we flew out to Philly to see my husbands' folks. We met up with my DH's brother and his kids almost the same age. Grandparents went all out on presents and fun stuff. BUT do you know what really made the kids happy that Xmas? My MIL got a new washer and the box it came in thrilled the 4 little kids- ages 6,5,4,3! They made that dang box into a rocket, store, train, house, hideout... on and on! My FIl said, "heck if I had known this I would have gotten 2 plain huge boxes and nothing else... it's all they played with!" My cat is the same way... have a box then you have fun, place to sleep and ambush passing humans! Life is good.

Wow, been absent a couple of days due to family commitments and SO many good ones. Love the owl scarf, the cloud babies chevy, the box thing is true in my house too, and the butterfly caterpillar cartoon.
Yesterday DH and I took our 9yo to see the movie "Paddington" about Paddington bear. Don't know if he is so well known in the US as he is here and movie is not out in US til mid Jan I think,. When I was a kid the Paddington books used to have a tagline "For children from 6 to 66". Well my recommendation is if you have a kid or grandkid from 6 to 66 grab them and go treat yourselves. It was wonderful: sweet, funny, and great big belly laughs. DH was crying laughing, but it is really lovely as well as funny.

If you gals love Grumpy Cat, you'll love the Christmas movie that Lifetime had on over the weekend, should it be replayed. Hubby and I loved it.
