Good Morning Goddesses,
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
I have a sugar hangover today. Ate way too much yesterday.
Slept very late this morning and feel like a slug.
-
sooooo
Basically most of us feel like crap
Damn
I think I ate too much
Doesn't mean we can't still have the party
-
This is the first year I haven't eaten too much.... but that's due to my chemo day on Tuesday. But I was able to go to my brother/sister-in-laws house for a family thanksgiving. It was great to see everyone, plus Angela is an excellent cook! So I had a small plate of food.
Today I am exhausted and can barely move. But I'm so glad I was up to the family thanksgiving yesterday. It was important to my DH and kids, too.
-
awwww. Try and get as much rest as you can before rads Poppy. I'm happy to hear you were able to enjoy your holiday even though you had chemo this week.
-
Poppy.. Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving yesterday with your family.. But sorry you are feeling so tired today.. Just rest up today and let Hubby spoil you x
-

Hello to all ! This is a great thread. Just had rad number 9 today and am starting to get red bumps and turning pink. Will be done with rads 1/5/15 and am planning to rip up and burn the ID card I have to check in with every day to get radiation. Then going to FLA on 1/13 for a few days to relax after going thru this nightmare. Still get a wide range of emotions that seem to well up at any time. This disease stinks!!!! I can also add to the bonfire the huge binder I have with all the cancer info, notes, Dr. business cards, surgery reports, biopsy reports and on and on and on.
Keep that bonfire going!!!!!!!
-
Beachlady.. Looks like we were diagnosed only 2 weeks apart, and path results looks very similar.. Yes.. My emotions are crazy too.. But the ladies here all seem to say that they will settle down.. We just need time..What I hated most was when I was first dx I would wake from my sleep, and a few seconds later "remember " that I had BC... and it was like a terrible shock all over again. ((( Hugs))) ..
-
this too shall pass
Welcome newbee
The fire is hot
Keep it goin
-
I'm done for the day
Sorry to be a party pooper but I really feel like crap
If anyone needs the broom to get to the bonefire,I'll leave it out
Come and get it
Think of me when u eat all those goodies that I can't have...lol
Tomorrow is a bright new day
-
Welcome to this thread Beachlady! The ladies here are a bit crazy, but wonderful!!
Our Queen has been MIA lately. But I know she keeps an eye on us
Miss Ducky should be by soon to roll out the welcome mat.
Kathe??? Still entertaining guests????
I haven't seen Vadre on here in a long time. Thinking of you and I hope you and your sister are doing well.
Thanks for the use of the broom Kracker. I'm also too tired and stuffed to fly.
Think I'll have a big glass of wine and sleep by the bonfire tonight.
Nighty Night!!
-
Ok, guess I have to fill in the Newbie first.......Welcome...........I am the funniest, prettiest, oldest (79), sexiest, nicest, one on this thread.........and also a member of The Mile High Club.............so you com on in nand sit a spell.............
-
Slow.. Enjoy the glass of wine.. Be so nice to have one and nod of next to the Bonfire.. I'v literal been too scared to have a wine since I've been dx.. Maybe I'll pluck up the courage and have one Christmas 🎄 Day.
-
Steroids are really kicking in and I can't sleep. Should I clean or visit BCO. Not such a tough choice.
Lucy, I have many imaginary glasses of wine at the imaginary Bonfire! haha
Honestly, I was joking with my MO after chemo that I was going to go out and celebrate being finished.
He told me it was a good idea. I said, "You're telling me I can have a glass of wine?"
He said, "Yes! Go out and celebrate."
So, of course I had to listen.
In reality, I don't make a habit of it, but I do have one every few months or so with my MO's blessing
-
Slo, are you still up?
-
Yes! I'm bouncing off the walls.
I feel like one of those old pinball machines.
Bouncing off the flippers.
-
wish i could see you doing that!
-
hahahaha
I'm waiting for the big crash.
What are you doing up so late??
Seems kinda creepy in here with no one around.
Like we have BCO all to ourselves.
-
i would bounce off them with you, just for fun! if i dont respond, its cause its really hard to post. how did you make that cutie pie smiley face on caryns thanksgiving mishap thread?
-
heh heh - Blondie isn't the ONLY one with secret powers!!
-

-
its cute!
