    Hi Ammu!

I, like you, found a fibroadenoma in the shower one day. I am 18 and found it this past May and decided with my doctor to take it out because it was approaching the 2cm mark. I had pain prior to the surgery but immediately after i had no pain at all. About a month after my surgery i began to have pain again and i would say its worse than what it was before. When doing an exam I can feel something there that is not nearly as big as my prior lump by my surgeon told me that is was just scar tissue. I am not really sure if i believe that it is scar tissue; i was told before my surgery that there was a chance that i could develop another one because once you have one your risk of getting another goes up. One thing my surgeon told me to do was to take Vitamin E pills to help with the pain, they seem to working so far! and to cut caffein or at least try to only have a little. (i tried cutting it out and gave up 4 days into it) Anyways, i would talk to your surgeon, you could even go and get a second opinion! my surgeon had me get an ultrasound when i went back complaining about paing just to make sure. maybe you could ask to have an ultrosound? and potentially another surgery? only if you are willing to do that again though!

    Best of luck,
