Triple negative breast cancer possibly moving into the lung

I had triple negative breast cancer 3 years ago under went chemo and a double mastectomy no lymph node involvement. I have been great until I got this cough, i thought it was allergies. I went to my corner ER care they took a chest X-Ray saw something they didn't like So fast forward CT scan with contrast and they say I have cancer in my lungs. Got my on call oncologists on the phone she said it could be many things infection, sarcoids. It is Thanksgiving and I am so anxious to get in any thoughts

    Nordic - Just wanted to say I'm here for you. I might be writing an identical post end of next week, scan on Wednesday. I'm so sorry your going through this again. What was your chemo last time? I hope someone comes along and gives you some sound advice.

    Welcome to BCO Nordic, sorry you have another scare - once should be enough!

    It can be very difficult to differentiate a problem on a chest x-ray as there can be many causes. Hopefully it is a simple cause like a bit of infection that can be easily cleared up. Waiting is hard the first time but a second time around would be very hard. We appreciate the thoughts going through your mind and sympathise, but you'll just have to go through the waiting process again and we're sorry anyone has to experience that once, rather than twice.

    it's thsnksgiving and went to the er and they found mine had metastasized to the lungs on a ct scan looking for kidney stones. No stones but stage 4 cancer in the lungs. I started chemo last week. Cisplatin/gemzar. What is your chemo regimen? I too had Cancer three years ago with no lymphnode involvement and a bilateral mastectomy. TAC chemo and I was done. My onc was floored it came back

    I was just diagnosed as well with a single lung met and am trying to be positive but terrified. I feel good that is only one and only in one organ, but it is still mets. I never thought I would be here
