Yesterday golf and then TRX. Today tabata and core. Tomorrow spin and later barre/Pilate's.
-
Badger, such awesome pictures!!! Walked this morning and did some hill
-
Walked at lunch 30 minutes. I've got to keep myself in check a little this week. Dr. appt Monday so I don't want to be up on that scale too much!
-
hey all! I'm on vacay this week and doing lotsa housework - and lots a snow shoveling in the past week. Having a hard time keeping up with the boards. Keep up the good work and have a great Thanksgiving!
-
Went to bootcamp again tonight to make up for the Thursday class I will miss. 2 days back to back has me sore and ready for bed. Expecting to wake up to snow in the morning.
Sweet dreams all.
-
Not a great week of exercise. Did the 2 hour zumba last Monday but it was a bit much. I am still clueless but will have another go in a less crowded class. Did not get to gym then until Friday, 1 1/4 hrs on treadmill, then did not feel well over weekend but did an hour on treadmill and some free weights yesterday. Still feeling a bit under the weather today so had a KitKatAthon after I had lost 2 pounds. Grrr!!
-
50 mins running in the pool.
Back hurting; minor headache. Took ibuprofen, 2 reg and 1 PM and turning in.
Night sculpted friends.
-
Feel better Patoo. Sweet my next door neighbor is in Luddington and has been posting the most beautiful pics on FB it's like she's living in a Currier and Ives postcard but it sure looks cold brrrr. Ruth glad you made it home safely.
Tonight did Body Jam class.
-
Yoga last night when I got home. Maybe a walk at lunch today, but it's snowing so we shall see.
Martha
-
Patoo, hope you feel better soon! I wish every one a Very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!!! Eat, Enjoy and Exercise
-
11/26- one hour cardio/core this morning with the personal trainer. I expect to be doing lots of walking this afternoon with the family during our visit to Old Town. And I will get up early tomorrow to go to the gym before I have to cook!
Wishing everyone a good holiday tomorrow and will be back on line this weekend!
-

Not at great picture of the Walking Women; but you maybe can catch a glimpse of all the white snow in the background......with more in the forecast. Zumba tonight. Safe trips to all the Thanksgiving travelers!
-
It's a nice photo Ruth and I do see all that white in the background! I'm in the kitchen having just baked 2 pumpkin pies (one going to work with hubby to share with office mates, most English have never eaten pumpkin pie, not a staple here) and now onto whipping up my mother's recipe of sausage pecan dressing - tastes better if it sits in the fridge overnight - as you all know.
Freestyle "L" double step - afterwards - body balance at the gym this morning.
-
I'm just popping in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all the sisters here who positively encourage each other, make me fitter, and yes even forget about cancer sometimes!

Now, back to my exercise today - cleaning!
-
Taking today and tommorrow off from exercise, will get back on the bandwagon Friday!
-
Great picture Ruth including the snow scenery.
Twohobbies, love that saying. I pray it is true for all of us. Especially the part about the thighs....LOL
Took today as a rest day and will be running a 5k turkey trot in the morning before the feast.
Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! May we eat, drink and be merry!!!
-
Hope you all have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hugs to All!!!
-
Love the Thanksgiving poem from twohobbies and the tip about setting the scale back from slowdeepbreaths! Got a chuckle out of both of those!
lilac - my sister in living in England and she has always talked about what a hard time she has getting a full turkey. One year she had what she called "Frankenbird" that was all sorts of pieces tied together. I haven't made my pumpkin pie yet...that's first on the list in the morning!
I did my stretching/toning and the treadmill in the late afternoon. I'm amazed at how much better I feel with exercising before dinner rather than after. I need to aim for that time. Next week we have things going on every night...I'm going to need to stay focused and not let those distractions keep me from exercising at the best time for me!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
-
Hi Everyone!
I last posted in May, and then life happened! Hello to new friends as well as those I know. With Thanksgiving being tomorrow I wanted to check in, say hello and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. I will be at 3 years out on December 27th, which is a significant milestone for the TNBC subtype. Things are great, I'm still following the same plan as in my signature line and graduate to semi-annual Onc visits in Jan. I've let up a little on the exercise, but my Onc said there is probably no extra benefit for me between the 60 miles and 80 miles. If that's the case, I'd like to choose the 60 miles a week route. I earned another credential, which required a lot of focus and studying. We had to part with a beloved pet who ran into serious complications following 1 dose of joint medicine and lost my Sister-in-law who was only 42. Life really is a journey and my wish is that all of us can find a way to embrace it. I do plan on saying hello more often now that things are settling down. I will sound the party bells and update you all at the 3-year mark so that we can celebrate together. Much love to all of you - I pray everyday for our health and a cure. xoxo
I've edited this to add that I just got done reading a couple of the pages. You ladies are so crazy with your exercise and I grin from ear-to-ear reading about all the various activities and seeing the weekly photos. I will be logging in during December and gaining momentum from all of you so that I reach my goals next month with exercising. Darn you eggnog latte - why do you have to tempt me? LOL
I also wanted to clarify that when I said "and then life happened", that I meant I really started living, looking forward to the future, setting goals again and living and loving life like I had previously done. So when life happened for me, it was a good thing. I moved forward by leaps and bounds.

Happy Thanksgiving!
-
Hi Inspired! Great to hear from you. I will make the sacrifice a drink an eggnog latte in solidarity with you on Dec. 27

-
Got a brisk 30 minute walk in - my reward for spending all afternoon at the DMV.
-
Hey Ruth, thank you. If you want we can practice now, and have one this Saturday. LOL
-
Forced 45 minutes on treadmill tonight. Had snow today but not much in my area so no shoveling - YAY!
Enjoy Thanksgiving all my sculpted friends.
-
If you insist!

-
Yay great to see you again IBD, celebration time coming up and we will be glad to celebrate with you. Great pic with your WOW group Ruth, you are a hearty bunch, no snow here, still in flip flops it's very summer like during the day and a little chilly at night although you'd probably laugh at what we call chilly
Went to Shbam this morning and then did a Spin class tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

-
I had a busy morning, followed by a lovely lunch with wine, some shopping, a 5k run, some lazing about while trying to resolve an Internet problem, making the cranberry sauce, a walk to the supermarket for some last minute items.....and finally doing my weights routine. The run felt really good, and my glutes are talking to me so I know much needed.
Nice to see you back Dolce.... So sorry about the "life happens" stuff.
I don't know what I did to incur the wrath of the Internet gods, but our website is still blacklisted. Grrrrrr.......
Hoping to get in a 20 mile group ride tomorrow AM prior to cooking. Have all the food, and I am adding chanterelle mushrooms to the stuffing for the Cornish Game Hens. I think they will be extremely tasty.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!! - Claire
-
I came back to add an edit to my post, and I knew I would be hit with a wave of over-achievers in here. Claire and her 20 miles in the AM - Patoo and her 45 minutes treadmill - etc .... LOL I'm not sure if I'm able to keep up with you all again. I feel like I have training wheels on now.
) Happy Thanksgiving! -
Well done on your new credential achievement InspiredByDolce and condolences to you and family for the loss of your sister-in-law. Mel147, it's now easier to find a turkey and other American goodies that it used to and I so get Frankenbird - too funny!
I've got my turkey in the oven after, body balance, pink pilates in the morning and iyengar yoga earlier this afternoon.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
-
Heading to gym (hey, not my fault they are open until 2pm) to run in pool before heading over to a friend to have lite dinner with her and her family.
Happy Thanksgiving sculpted friends.
-
Well....not sure what happened to the group ride. I looked in the park, and since I couldn't find the group (who most likely decided that it was "too wet to ride"), set off on my own. I did 22 miles, but a different and more fun route. Cycled back into a head wind, so got my exercise.
I thought the light was magical, so wanted to share. Later, the sun on the grass and bare trees reminded me of why Seattle is indeed the "Emerald City". Yes, that is a windmill behind the bridge and lots of water in the Sammamish River. In the end, I only got a bit wet and so thankful for sights like this one. Happy Thanksgiving! - Claire
