Rachel, the first year really is difficult -especially during the holidays or special occasions. We have two birds that hang around our backyard - they are always together. My husband and I joke about it being my Mom and Dad watching over us. Sometimes they leave for long periods of time, but they always come back. We pretend like they are vacationing during those times
.Edited to add: GMA, that picture of you and your Grandchildren brings tears to my eyes. It's lovely!

Mary, we talked about grandchildren so much, I just wanted to share what my granddaughter can do. Even when she has no tools to draw, she draws anyway. I think we have an artist in the making - Here is some cute pictures of her at the beach and her drawing in the sand.
