I did not lose all of my hair after my first tc treatment.  It was very patchy so I had someone use clippers and  give me a sort of buzz cut.  Now at day 10 after my second treatment my scalp is very itchy.  There are some itchy bumps and some of the little hairs that were left are falling out.  Is it normal to lose some hair after the first treatment and more after subsequent treatments? What about the itchy scalp? I have not read about that se.   Thank you. Lori

    I started losing hair around day 16 and while I still have a very little bit left, it is still falling out. I think it's different for everyone, but for me I have been losing for 9 weeks or so. I have two infusions left.

    Sounds normal. The itchey for me was new growth

    I just had my Taxol #4 yesterday.  When I was taking my shower and rinsing out the shampoo, big handfuls of hair came out!  I would say that I lost about half of my hair in one shower!  My scalp feels like it is sunburned.  Since I have a total of 12 treatments scheduled I know I will go fully bald this time like I did last time.  Is there something I can put on my scalp to soothe it without irritating it?  I prefer to wear wigs rather than scarves.  Luckily, I saved my wigs from last time, but it took a long time for my hair to grow back so the wigs are a bit ratty (even though I took really good care of them)  Does it take longer for the hair to grow in the second time?  I'm going to be bald all summer, so maybe I need to splurge on a new wig.  Do you have any favorites that are more durable than others without being too expensive?   Thanks for any suggestions?
