Any cures for steroid jitters?

Help! I'm so jittery after my 2 dexthmethason pills 3 days post chemo. Can't even type. Any help would be appreciated!

    I remember this well. Unfortunately, dexamethasone has a half life of 3 days which means that it continues to build up in your system until this point. I did two things:

    1. Walked to ease things. It really helped with the crawlies and calmed me down.
    2. Asked my medical team if I could do 2 and not 3 days. They were just fine with this. Made a world of difference for me.

    hi jovigal, walking is always good.  I also cleaned house like a madwoman when I had that post-chemo 'roid rage the first few days after a tx.  Worked out OK 'cuz then I'd crash and not do anything for a week or two.
