I was diagnosed with invasive ductal adenocarcinoma, well differentiated. grade 1. Will be seeing the surgeon next week. The cancer was picked up by ultrasound because I have dense breast tissue. Trying to stay positive. I am glad I found this site it has helped me a lot.

hi neiman: Try to stay strong and read as much as you can, but don't scare yourself-everyone is different and treatments vary greatly. I am the same age as you and I am currently undergoing chemotherapy even though I am Stage 1 because I have a HER2+ IDC. But I can tell you that I have survived surgery and 4 rounds of chemo and losing my hair. So keep reading and don't worry-1in 8 women are in this situation and you will be ok.
