Tomorrow is my DD Baby shower. Here's the blankie I made. It's A wool blend and so, so, soft! I washed and dried it in the machine on wool cycle in wash and low heat in dryer. I was so afraid it would shrink. Nope. It came out beautifully. Now I feel good about using part wool.no one needs baby stuff you have to wash by hand! LOL

LOL. Glad she likes it. Shower went well. Food was amazing.squash soup. Finger sandwiches of cucumber and turkey with herbed butter. And goat cheese and spinach tarts. Bruschetta melts with balsamic. Ended with Black tea with Chestnut or Ginger Plum tea. Dark chocolate cake or scones or polish apple cake. Mini servings so I tried 2 of them. LOL

Today I am very grateful to share my 1 year cancerversary! To think it has been a year since I climbed up on that table and later woke up with a very strange looking breast reduction! Thank you, ptb, for all the lessons I have learned in that year.

8.5 lb 18 in

1 week early!

Glad for my DD it wasn't next week or later. That's a big one!. Of course we expected a bigger baby as mine were between 9 and 10 lbs except for my 1st who was 7.5. LOL his side gad 7 and 8 lbs. She only gained 16 lbs!

Thanks for the support Tomboy and Moon. She did write to me, explaining a lot of things that were going on in her life that I wasn't aware of, so I think it's a combination of many things and my question set the spark to the tinder. I would like to hope for the easy relationship we had before, but I think I'll need to be patient.
