please pray for my daughter, (abnormal x-ray)

Please pray for my daughter Gina. She is 14 and had an abnormal hip x-ray.
An MRI four years ago showed fluid around the hip joint and they said no treatment necessary. Once or twice a year she gets a pain for a day or two and is okay.
I insisted on an x-ray on this years physical and it is abnormal.
The neck of the femur is narrowed and there is a "cystic space" in the hip bone. Could be all sorts of things (osteoarthritis, dysplasia, fibroma) "probably" benign (they said that of my mammogram too) and they want an MRI.
We try to get it done sooner than the 5 Oct. appointment. I don't want to go have my exchange surgery without knowing I probably just cancel the whole thing.
My husband had cancer, than I and we were talking back then how awful it would be if our daughter got sick.
Please please pray for her. She is such a sweet, kind and caring person - too good to be true - I say sometimes...
She doesn't deserve it.
I am in the pits today as you all would be if a child is affected.
Please pray.
God Bless

Nobody deserves it. It just happens.
Sending prayers your way... -
I am lifting your sweet daughter in prayer. I know it must be so very scary. I often tell myself, at least it's me who was diagnosed with cancer, not my spouse or children. I pray that the mri will show no cancer, but something that the Dr will be able to give a good prognosis for.
I am sorry that you are scared. Take care and please keep us uppdated.
Love and Prayers,
Lexi -
Thank you so much.
I tried to speed the appointment but they (Air Force medical) would not do it. They don't see it as urgent. I don't have confidence in their abilities since I had the runaround with my mammo, rescheduled biopsy, cancelled biopsy etc. None of their doctors are board certified.
I am just running in circles "what if they are wrong again?"
God Bless -
Calico,
Take a deep breath. I am praying right along with everyone here that the tests will be done quickly and accurately and with good results. I understand your concern for your child. Please know we are here together in this fight. God loves us all so, and I believe he loves the children even more. God bless your precious daughter and you. Don't borrow trouble from tomorrow. Just rest in Him today. Pam -
Calico,
As a mother, I completely understand how your heart aches. When our children hurt.......we hurt worse.
sending healing light, love and peace to you and your daughter

Thank you all, it means so much to me.

Calico,
I'm sorry that your daughter is going through this. I know as a mother how hard it is to see our children in pain, or sick. We would gladly trade places with them. I'm praying that this will be nothing or at the most something very easy to take care of. You are in my prayers as well for God to give you peace and calm your fears.
Hugs,
JoJo -
Thank you.
I finally got to see somebody who did some tweaking and we have an appointment tonight at 8.00 pm for the MRI
Guess who walked by me in the Radiology department?? The doc who read my mammo wrong in 2004.
I mentioned that whole story to the head in that department as well and asked for not having that radiologist read the MRI.
They were very understanding.
I don't think we will have results til Monday (I hope by then!!).
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I love Gina more than my life. (all moms love their kids more than their life). I am counting minutes down for that appointment.
God Bless -
Calico,
I am glad you spoke up and asked that same Doctor not to read her films. I know how you feel wating for results for your daughter, it is the worst! My daughter had a scare with an ultra sound and pain abonormal bleeding and the films came back abnormal scared us to death, it was really hard to remain calm for her sake until they could get more info.(it turned out to be B9) I am keeping you and Gina in my prayers and sending
you a big hug though cyber space , glad you were able to get her in sooner too! Praying for B9 B9 B9 Calico!
hugs,
Carrie -
Calico, glad you were able to get her in sooner. I'll say a prayer for good results.

The technican said it is definitely a cyst and it looks weird around it, but she also mentioned she hasn't seen one in a while and she said that in front of my daughter
I know she is not a radiologist and to not give a hoot but now I am really scared.
God Bless -
Looks bad but I hope we can handle it.
Her left hip seems pretty much eroded and it looks like she is facing some surgery.
We were not informed 4 yrs ago of the extend of the MRI (inflammable arthritis - little fluid my a** ).
Since the pain was only on and of a couple of times a yr, she did not get x-rays on physicals either.
The MRI was bad and they called in for CT and chest x-ray.
The pressure was eating on the bone and the cartilage between the bones in the hip is damaged. They don't do hip replacements with kids so the radiologist mentioned that she will probably face some bone grafts etc. We will be referred to a specialist after seeing Mondays orthopedic doctor.
They still need to biopsy to totally rule out malignancy.
Please continue to pray for her if you can. Our board needs so many prayers right now but I am sure He will listen.
Thank you.

Patti -
Thank you so much for your prayers.
We went to the orthopaedic doc today and he referred us to a orthopedic oncologist early october. It is a locally agressive tumor, probably benign but it has to be biopsied to be sure.
Then she will face extensive surgery due to the advanced destruction of the hip bone. I have cancelled my exchange surgery at the end of this month until I know more about my daughter.
Please keep Gina in your prayers. My deepest appreciation for your prayers.

Thank you so much for your prayers.
Gina will have surgery on the 11 Oct. and the doctor thinks it is unlikely to have a malignancy there.
She'll biopsy during surgery, it is going to be a big one.
Thank you soooo much for prayers!!! I am forever grateful.
