Oh Leslie, yes bring some of that laughter here. We need to laugh and enjoy life. My husband is an entertainer and does parodies. When I say my husband is a comedian, well its no joke. He is, in more ways than one.

Bring it on Leslie...I'm ready...

Stand-Up comedy was my life in NYC.
Maybe I can bring her back on these discussion boards...

Gotta have a VERY open mind though!
But I CAN make you laugh!
Til Then...

Leslie,
You are AMAZING! You have brought Leslie back big time even holding a hot Starbuck's and swooning your guy looking good in his jeans. I love your sense of humor. Keep it keeping on.
You brought me my first smiles of the day and I thank you for that! -

Leslie, I've just made my way down the threads to your post. You wrote some pretty powerful stuff, and it's real, and it's humorous. I just got a chuckle from Murray the Node.

That's funny, Leslie.
Glad to see you posting and finding some humour in this. I think it's a great way to handle it. -
Leslie,
You go girl! Keep your chin up and keep laughing. And keep giving the rest of us something to laugh about. We all need it.
Thanks for the grins!
By the way, we Hoosiers (Indiana) enjoy humor also, even the 'corny' stuff. -

Hey Leslie - if your talking about Melissa editing your post, you can still use abbreviations and we'll get it.
"F-ing" or freaking can have the same impact and may not be removed. JMO -

sometimes a person's feelings are known by what they say
sometimes a person's feelings are known by what they dont say....their silence
food for thought -
Les,
I agree with you. We should be able to express ourselves any way we see fit! You have brought your sense of humor to the boards and made us all laugh. I don't see anyone complaining. If I didn't find humor in bc I would never have made it through treatment as well as I did. I worked all through chemo and rads. There were many times that I laughed at my bald head, etc. I wanted to go to a Halloween party dressed like that old man in the Great Adventure commercial, but I went as GI Jane.LOL
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Leslie,
What bash in VA?? I can't go, but I'm in PA (near Philly). I am old old hippie. Born in 1951. I think you are funny! You just have to keep some humor in your life. Everything just grinds to a halt without it. My greatest "good time" is laughing at myself ! Keep on keepin' on. As "they" say .

(fomerly a hippie, now a biker) -
I was born in '62, can I still be a hippie? I'm waiting for someone to have a meeting in Connecticut...just too busy/lazy to organize it myself.
-
Ok I say we have a PA, NY, and CT get together LOL Better yet, the whole damn East Coast! We can meet in Atlantic City and drink and gamble and smoke...sorry I'm a smoker...and laugh our fears away! I'll blow the smoke the other way!
-
YEAH! AC works for me! I work every other weekend, though, so it would have to be on a weekend off...or during the week?
I don't smoke, but bring ON the drinking and gambling! -
sorry, Leslie...we hijacked your thread!
-
We didn't hijack her thread...she's coming along!
