I am joining you at the fire.. Cold here this morning..
-
Good morning! It's going to be about 90 here is SoCal today. So much for the cooler weather we were starting to enjoy!
I want to throw these horrible hot flashes in the bonfire! Every hour is too much!
-
oh U poor thing
I remember them very well
Mine lasted a long time
I hope yours goes away real soon
-
Grannydukes, that wasn't a funny ciggarette that made you see snowflakes?
-
I just posed a long post to U Cath and lost it
Anyway we did have snowflakes and ice on the cars
I need one of those funny ciggarettes
Let's see if I can send this
Grrrrrr
-
Thanks for the encouragement, FK! I thought I wouldn't have anymore hot flashes, then chemo brought them on again... but stronger!
-
on occasion I still get them
When I get nervous
When I get excited
I wear layers now so I start pulling off one by one
Folic acid helped me
And
Of course I took the hormones to help those damn thing
And then I got the beast
End of story

throwing my misdiagnosis of colon cancer on this fire! I was told Tuesday after colonoscopy that I had colon cancer, spent the worst 4 days of my life, until Friday pm when doc called to say biopsy showed no cancer!
Such a relief, but that was a big mistake and I got a lot of people upset. I am very thankful.Wilsie
-
Crap, Wilsie! That's awfull! I am so sorry! I mean, it's wonderful news that they called you back with the truth, BUT!!! OMG, how awful for those days you thought you did, and for all the people who began worrying about you...just awful

Good Morning Goddesses,
It's quiet by the fire.
I've always wanted to go to Vermont. I hear it's beautiful. Safe travels FK.
Good to see you back Badger.
Wilsie, that's just awful. So happy it all turned out well for you.
Hope you are all doing well. Love to all!

-

It's too quiet here for a while now
I'm not likin this
-
I am here also!!!
-
Sorry I've been absent from here, haven't really felt like talking under the circumstances
-
I'm throwing into the fire my numbing cream, which I never use when I go to have my maintenance treatments, any armbands from when I would have labs or scans (I kept them for what reason?!--to always be reminded? Who needs that!), any literature regarding cancer given to me by oncologist or otherwise, ANYTHING THAT REMINDS ME OF THE SUBJECT!!!! I believe the road to healing is not to be reminded constantly that you have cancer, but to move ahead with your life as though you never had it! I'm sick of Pinktober and all the banners put up about it and all the TV ads--quit wasting money on that kind of stuff and just find a cure!! That's all we want!
-

Welcome Lucy to this crazy bunch. Shame on Ducky!!!! She brags about herself and doesn't bother to mention her "QUEEN" which is me! I have been MIA for a while but I do ready everyday but haven't posted much lately.
FK - I need a ride to a much warmer climate like maybe Belize or Jamaica. I am friggin freezing here.
