switching from round to gummy

Has anyone made this switch?  I am scheduled for this procedure and am now having some second thoughts.  My round implants show a lot of ripples-esp on the right prophy side.  I don't really like their shapes either-one is flat with dog ears and the other looks like it is on its side with a big divot.  Both sit far to the outside.  My PS suggested the natrelle 410 in a bigger size than I have now. I should say that my pockets were made for bigger rounds than I have.  I asked for smaller implants than planned for at the last minute after liking the size of my expanders.

So I am wondering now if I should just go with round in a bit bigger size.  I am worried that my pockets were made for round and that the gummies won't fit right.  PS says he will have to do pocket work for them.  Also worried about them shifting around and not having enough fullness to them.  When I hold both foobs and push them a bit in towards each other they look great and this is the look I want.  With the right bra I can almost make it happen but otherwise they are just really ugly and flat looking.

Has anyone made this switch?  are you happy?  What do you feel the difference is?  Any info on these gummies would be great!  I haven't had great luck on my board search.

    Mallory,

I didn't switch. I still have TE's but on Nov. 11 my PS will be putting rather smooth rounds or the 410's in. It will depend on which looks better.

I had a bit of a nervous breakdown over all of this but my plastic surgeon said something that you may find helpful...

A surgeon who does the correct pocket work and correct moulding for your implant can put anything (as long as its not too big) in your chest. If your concern is the pocket work that your ps did not do the first time, then I would be concerned allowing the same person to try to do the pocket work for anatomical!

Other than that, I'm sorry I'm not much help!
