-
I don't think you are evil. Except maybe only to the people who deserve it. And well,, they DESERVE it!!And a little crazy is good!
-
I've only met one TRULY evil person in my lifetime - long ago.
-

Ducky! That's tremendous! I am so happy for you, and a wee bit jealous! Please do not let them bully you into continuing! You may be suprised to find out that they agree that that was long enough for you. And I do hope that you let us all know, how you are feeling, and how all the awfullness of all the bad ways it did make you feel, goes away. I hope your pains etc all go quickly!

Thanks all............I will be off for 1 month........I got my stats from my MO, and if I stay on Letrozole for the 5 years my chance of a recurrence considering the surgery, Rads, Onc score, good margins, 1.5cm tumor size, clean nodes, and 3 yrs 3 months on Letrozole .......would be 6% recurrence.......for10 year survival.
Going off the Letrozole the chance of recurrence would doublt to 12% for 10 year survival............that would be if I take nothing else.......after the 1 month vacation....
She said I with insurance approval could go on Falslodex which is a once a month injection........I did however check it out, and there are side effects although she has 4 patients on it now that are doing very well on it who could not take Als.................so that is a possibility, but its an injection, and once its done, its done, and if your gonna get SE's.....your out of luck, cause at that point you would deal with them till the next month when you would get another injection............so that does not excite me...........
Right now I am going to enjoy being off it all........by the way.....I missed Sunday nights pill, and Monday night also...........Monday morning I felt better then I have in a while............This morning I felt even better and could get out of the chair, stand, and walk without going off balance, or hobbling along.......I asked her if that could be possible, or was it mind over matter............
Her answer..................NO, what you felt was real.....some people can get relief in just a day or 2..............can't wait to see how I feel tomorrow.........I am so happy..............
-
Ducky, you just have no idea how happy I am to hear you are feeling better!!!
I'm so very excited for you.
-
Ducky, I am so happy for you! It is wonderful that you are feeling so much better! I'm thrilled to hear your MOs comment about what you feel is real and that some patients get relief after a day or 2. This affirming your feelings and experience is fantastic!
I hope each day continues to get better!
I got great news today during my chemo infusion appointment! I recovered enough from my previous chemo cycle to not need Neulasta. Best of all, I have an end date for chemo.... Nov 25.... only one more round!
-
Poppy, Thrilled to hear you got out of the neu-nasty shot!!
I hated those shots.
Just one more to go....awesome!!!!
-
Since I was so incredibly exhausted from the previous cycle, I took Claritin yesterday just in case I needed the Neulasta. I figured I should at least be prepared, and it wouldn't hurt anything. Thanks to everyone here, I knew how to prepare!
-
I did get a bit of relief from Claritin.
For me, the neu-nasty shot was worse than the chemo.
-
Yes! That's why I was so glad my MO gave me a chance to recover without automatically making it part of my treatment plan. I won't throw her on the bonfire.... well, at least not yet, we still have a ways to go.
-
hahaha Poppy. I've been very happy with my BS and MO. However, the imaging department is on my list at the moment. Will you be doing radiation after chemo?
-
Yes, just pulled out my radiation consult folder to find out when I need to schedule my first visit!
-
Yay Ducky so happy for you, you are your best advocate and know your body better than anybody.
Poppy know it is coming to an end is aweseome, if feels like the light and the end of the tunnel, I know you have to do rads, but done with 1 start with another and done.....
I still take claritan everyday!!!
-
good morning
Everyone has good news
That makes me happy
A good day starts first thing in the morning
Keep up the good work all of u
