I got my pathology report from my family doctor today. It states that my mass is infiltrating mammary carcinoma. Ductual, Moderately differentiated, G2. Nottingham score 6/9. DCIS nuclear grade II ( intermediate ). Estrogen receptor 99% positive, progesterone receptor 99% postive, heR-2/NEU 3+ postive, Kl-87 38% high. I guess I will find out what all this means Thursday when I see the surgeon. I'm still pretty nervous about this. I sure hope I don't have to hear the word chemotherapy. I still count my blessing because I know it could be a whole lot worse.

(((sophie14))) so sorry you've had to join us…it's so tough to get this diagnosis and not worry, at least you will have more answers on Thursday and should have a treatment plan to help you fight this beast. In may include chemo but at least being ER/PR+ and HER-2 + gives you lots of treatment options. And, if you do have to take chemo you will find lots of good advice and support here. Hang in there, let us know what you find out (((Hugs))) Maureen
