Surgery finally scheduled for removal of pectoral muscle.

After many consultations, I will have surgery on 11/11. Sounds like a lucky date. I still have no idea what I am in for and will know when I awake from surgery. I will have 2 surgeons and don't know where the skin grafts will come from. I will just be happy to be rid of this very visable cancer and on my way to recovery.

Surgery was successful yesterday! Home today in lots of pain and sporting a drain. I was very fortunate and did not require skin graft. I had two very good surgeons, one who removed my entire pectoral muscle and one who , artfully, closed me up. I do not know the tumor size or staging yet, as tumor was totally encompassed within the muscle. I am so grateful to God and all who prayed for me.
