    I am getting gemzar thru the arm.  Some of the gemzar leaked into my skin.  Has anyone had this?

    a long time ago when I was having CMF this happened to me a couple of times. It stung like hell but didn't cause any long term problems that I can remember. It may depend on what chemo it is and how toxic. 

    As I have had all my lymph nodes out both sides now I technically don't have an arm they can use for chemo so I had a port put in when I was diagnosed stage 4. So glad I don't have to havechemo in my arm anymore.

    Did they say anything at chemo when it happened? How is your arm feeling?
