    I sure do believe that lymphedema slows down the healing process.  How incredibly frustrating to have to deal with wearing a cast on an arm with LE.  Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Kathy. I'll know to search for this page if I ever find myself in a similar circumstance.

    **note to self**  If one must break an arm,,, fall on the right side not the left LE side.  IF ONLY!

    Just saw a quick interview with Malcolm Mitchell. He belongs to a ladies book club! When he started college, he could only read on a jr high school level, so he reads as much as he can to improve that. He met a lady in the B & N and asked if he could join her book club.  He says his proudest accomplishment was reading,  something,, that I didn't catch. The interviewer said, what about football?  Malcom says that's a gift,, reading was something he had to work at.  Wow!!
